Lieutenant General Amit Kabthiyal, General Officer Commanding of the Vajra Corps, visited the forward areas of the Golden Arrow Division to review the formation’s operational preparedness and combat readiness.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the prevailing security situation, operational deployments and measures undertaken to maintain a high level of readiness along the frontline. He reviewed the division’s preparedness to effectively respond to emerging security challenges and sustain operational effectiveness.

Lt Gen Kabthiyal interacted with commanders and junior leaders deployed in the sector and received updates on training, operational capabilities and force preparedness. The interaction provided an opportunity to assess ground-level readiness and discuss measures to further strengthen combat effectiveness.
Commending all ranks for their professionalism, steadfast commitment and high morale, the Corps Commander praised the troops for their dedication to duty and unwavering focus on mission accomplishment.

He emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant, adaptable and operationally agile in an evolving security environment. He also encouraged soldiers and leaders at all levels to continue maintaining the highest standards of military professionalism and combat readiness.

The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to ensuring that frontline formations remain mission-ready and capable of effectively addressing any security challenge while safeguarding national interests.
