Lieutenant General VMB Krishnan, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, visited Nabagram Military Station to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness of the formation.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the operational environment, security challenges and measures being undertaken to maintain a high level of combat readiness in the area of responsibility. He reviewed the formation’s preparedness and assessed ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness.

Lt Gen Krishnan also interacted with officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and soldiers, gaining firsthand insights into the formation’s operational activities and readiness levels.
The Eastern Army Commander commended the troops for their professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment to duty. He lauded all ranks for maintaining high standards of operational preparedness and demonstrating steadfastness while performing their responsibilities.
