The Passing Out Parade of the PRCN (JD) Course was held with military precision at the NCC Officers Training Academy (OTA), Kamptee, on 1 August 2026, marking the successful completion of training for 553 Cadet Training Officers (CTOs). The ceremony celebrated a significant milestone as the trainees graduated to become Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), ready to lead and mentor National Cadet Corps cadets across the country.
The parade was reviewed by Major General Sarabjit Singh Bakshi, SM, VSM, Commandant, NCC Officers Training Academy, who congratulated all 553 Cadet Training Officers on successfully completing the rigorous training programme. He commended their dedication, discipline and commitment displayed throughout the course and wished them success in their future responsibilities.
Addressing the newly graduated officers, the Reviewing Officer emphasised the vital role of Associate NCC Officers in shaping the character and leadership qualities of India’s youth. He urged them to uphold the highest traditions of leadership, discipline and selfless service while inspiring future generations of NCC cadets to become responsible citizens and potential leaders of the nation.
Passing through the portals of the Academy, the newly commissioned Associate NCC Officers now embark on a new chapter of service, carrying with them the values and professional skills acquired during their training. They will serve as mentors and role models, fostering patriotism, character, teamwork and national integration among NCC cadets in schools and colleges across the country.
The PRCN (JD) Course is designed to prepare Cadet Training Officers with the leadership, instructional and organisational skills required to effectively conduct NCC activities. The comprehensive training programme equips them to guide cadets in military training, adventure activities, community service and personality development while promoting the core values of the National Cadet Corps.
The successful Passing Out Parade reaffirmed the NCC Officers Training Academy, Kamptee’s unwavering commitment to producing competent, confident and mission-ready Associate NCC Officers dedicated to building disciplined, responsible and patriotic youth, thereby contributing to nation-building through the enduring ideals of leadership, character and selfless service.
