Lieutenant General Pawan Chadha, General Officer Commanding Trinity Area, accompanied by the General Officer Commanding, Headquarters Jharkhand & Bihar Sub Area, visited Ramgarh Military Station to review training, operational infrastructure and troop welfare initiatives at the Punjab Regimental Centre and the Sikh Regimental Centre.
During the visit, the senior commanders assessed the training infrastructure at both regimental centres and interacted with the 9th Batch of Agniveers, reviewing the comprehensive training being imparted to prepare them for the demands of modern military service. The interaction highlighted the Indian Army’s continued emphasis on developing physically fit, mentally resilient and professionally competent soldiers.

Lt Gen Chadha also visited the Navchetana Kendra, where he reviewed the psychological assessment and counselling initiatives designed to enhance the mental well-being and overall development of soldiers. The Centre plays an important role in strengthening psychological resilience and supporting personnel through scientific evaluation and guidance.
The General Officer further inspected the Medical and Dental facilities, station infrastructure and the Supply Company, reviewing the support systems that contribute to the operational efficiency and welfare of troops stationed at Ramgarh Military Station.

Commending the officers and staff, Lt Gen Pawan Chadha appreciated the high standards of training maintained at the Punjab and Sikh Regimental Centres. He also praised the robust psychological assessment framework, modern infrastructure and innovative initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of soldiers and enhancing institutional efficiency.

The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to developing future-ready soldiers through modern training methodologies, comprehensive welfare measures and continuous infrastructure development. It also underscored the Army’s focus on ensuring that operational readiness is supported by strong administrative, medical and psychological support systems.
