Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM, Additional Director General (ADG), NCC Directorate Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, interacted with the NCC contingent that represented the Directorate at the Inter Directorate Sports Shooting Championship (IDSSC) 2026 held in Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), congratulating the cadets on their commendable performance.
The 20-member contingent delivered an impressive performance during the championship, securing the eighth position in the overall standings while winning two silver medals against strong competition from NCC Directorates across the country.
During the interaction, Maj Gen Bevli applauded the cadets for their dedication, discipline and determination, stating that their achievements reflected the high standards of training and professionalism maintained by the NCC Directorate Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. He appreciated the team’s commitment to excellence and the spirit with which they represented the Directorate on the national stage.
The Additional Director General also encouraged the cadets to continue striving for higher achievements through sustained hard work, focused training and perseverance. He emphasised that participation in national-level competitions not only enhances sporting excellence but also develops qualities of leadership, confidence, teamwork and resilience among NCC cadets.
