Air Marshal Sandeep Thareja, SM, VSM & Bar, Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), undertook his maiden visit to Army Hospital (Research & Referral) after assuming his appointment, reviewing the hospital’s advanced clinical infrastructure and patient care facilities.
During the visit, the DGAFMS was briefed on the hospital’s healthcare capabilities and facilities dedicated to providing specialised medical treatment to Armed Forces personnel and their dependants.

Air Marshal Thareja interacted with officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks serving at the hospital. He appreciated their commitment and professional dedication towards delivering high standards of healthcare to the Armed Forces community.

The DGAFMS emphasised the importance of continuously pursuing excellence in patient care, medical research and professional training. He encouraged all ranks to remain focused on improving healthcare delivery and achieving better health outcomes for serving personnel, veterans and their dependants.
