Thirty officer cadets from the Air Force Academy, including cadets from friendly foreign countries, participated in a joint training and orientation programme at the ASC Supply Company under Headquarters Telangana & Andhra Sub Area.
The programme provided the officer cadets with an opportunity to gain insights into the critical role of logistics in maintaining operational readiness. The interaction focused on integrated logistics support and the importance of seamless coordination among the Services.
The orientation highlighted the role of logistics in supporting military operations and ensuring the availability of necessary resources. Exposure to the functioning of logistics support mechanisms also provided the cadets with an understanding of the importance of coordination in sustaining operational effectiveness.

The participation of cadets from friendly foreign countries added an international dimension to the joint training and orientation programme. Such interactions provide opportunities for the participating officer cadets to gain a broader understanding of military support systems and inter-service cooperation.
The programme also contributed to strengthening jointmanship among the future leaders of the Armed Forces. Interaction across Service lines enables officer cadets to develop greater understanding of the roles and responsibilities of different elements involved in military operations.
The engagement further fostered camaraderie among the participating cadets and provided a platform for professional interaction during their training.

Joint training initiatives of this nature contribute to greater understanding between the Services and help develop an appreciation of the importance of integrated approaches to operational readiness and logistics support.
The programme at HQ Telangana & Andhra Sub Area ASC Supply Company thus brought together officer cadets in an environment focused on logistics, coordination and professional interaction, while strengthening the bonds of jointmanship and camaraderie among the future leaders of the Armed Forces.
