The All Arms Combat Engineering Instructors Course at the College of Military Engineering (CME), Pune, culminated on 28 October 2025 with an impressive display of professionalism, technical proficiency, and instructional excellence.
The composite course was attended by 54 participants, including officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), and Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) from various arms of the Indian Army, along with one officer from the Friendly Foreign Country (FFC) of Ethiopia.
Enhancing Combat Engineering Proficiency
The course was meticulously designed to enhance the operational and instructional skills of the participants in field engineering, demolitions, mine warfare, and contemporary combat engineering practices. It focused on enabling instructors to effectively impart critical engineering knowledge and fieldcraft to troops deployed in diverse terrains and operational conditions.
Participants underwent rigorous training sessions, live demonstrations, and field exercises, ensuring a holistic understanding of the latest techniques in combat engineering.

Recognition of Excellence
Among the participants, Nk Kamender Singh of the Special Forces distinguished himself through exceptional performance and was adjudged as the Overall Best Student of the Course. His achievement reflects the high standards of discipline, technical acumen, and adaptability that define the ethos of the Indian Armyโs elite training institutions.
