The Yodha Rakshak Combat Casualty Care training was successfully conducted for Officer Cadets of the Indian Military Academy (IMA) by an elite instructor team from the Officers Training College, AMC Centre & College, marking a major step in strengthening battlefield lifesaving capabilities among future Army leaders.

A total of 453 cadets underwent the rigorous module, which combined focused classroom instruction with extensive hands-on practice, preparing them to respond effectively to combat casualties under high-stress operational conditions. The training covered critical trauma management techniques, haemorrhage control, airway management, rapid evacuation protocols and essential interventions required during the golden hour of battlefield injuries.

In addition to training officer cadets, the AMC instructor team also conducted an intensive Train-the-Trainers programme for the medical staff of Military Hospital Dehradun and the Field Hospital. This initiative aims to create a self-sustaining ecosystem of skilled trainers capable of continually upgrading combat medical preparedness within the formation.

The successful conduct of the Yodha Rakshak module reinforces the Armyโs commitment to enhancing combat casualty care competencies, ensuring that future officers and medical personnel are equipped with the knowledge, confidence and agility required to save lives in the most challenging operational environments.
