The Uttarakhand Sub Area Provost Unit has been awarded the prestigious Provost Marshal Banner, emerging as the best among the major Provost units. The award recognises the unit’s exemplary performance, discipline and professional excellence in military policing duties.
The Provost Marshal Banner was presented by Major General Vikram Singh Sekhon, YSM, Provost Marshal, to Colonel Baljeet Singh, Commanding Officer, and Subedar Major Raj Kumar of the Uttarakhand Sub Area Provost Unit during a formal ceremony.
The honour reflects the unit’s sustained commitment to operational efficiency, high standards of military discipline and effective law enforcement within the Army’s areas of responsibility. It also highlights the dedication and professionalism displayed by all ranks of the unit in the discharge of their duties.
