Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Spear Corps, carried out a comprehensive review of operational readiness at forward areas under the Corpsโ responsibility in Arunachal Pradesh.
During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed preparedness across key formations and validated the operational posture in challenging terrain and conditions. He also reviewed preparations for the International Military Adventure Challenge Cup (IMACC), an event aimed at promoting military adventure, endurance, and inter-service camaraderie.

Lt Gen Pendharkar commended the development of the Adventure Village, noting its state-of-the-art accommodation and centrally located adventure facilities, which are expected to significantly enhance training and hosting capabilities for adventure-based military activities.
The GOC further complimented all ranks of the Spear Head Division for their outstanding performance in the Drone Lab Competition, highlighting their technological proficiency, innovation, and effective integration of unmanned systems into operational thinking.

The visit underscored Spear Corpsโ continued focus on high operational readiness, technological adaptation, and all-round excellence in both combat preparedness and professional development.
