Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Fire and Fury Corps, visited forward posts of the Ultimate Force in Ladakh to review the operational preparedness and combat readiness of troops deployed along the high-altitude frontier.

During the visit, the GOC conducted a detailed assessment of operational posture, infrastructure, and readiness measures in the forward areas. He was briefed on deployment patterns, surveillance mechanisms and preparedness to respond swiftly to emerging threats in one of the most challenging operational environments in the country.

Interacting closely with soldiers deployed in remote and inhospitable terrain, Lt Gen Bhalla commended their professionalism, endurance and unwavering resolve. He acknowledged the physical and mental demands of high-altitude service and praised the troops for maintaining high morale and vigilance despite extreme weather and terrain conditions.

The GOC urged all ranks to continue upholding the highest standards of operational excellence while rapidly adopting new and emerging technologies to enhance situational awareness, mobility and combat effectiveness. The visit reaffirmed the Indian Armyโs focus on maintaining a robust, agile and future-ready force capable of safeguarding national interests in the Ladakh sector.
