Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi visited the Bison Division and reviewed the operational preparedness and training standards of the formation during his visit.
During the visit, the Army Chief was briefed on the division’s key training initiatives, operational capabilities, and infrastructure development. Particular emphasis was placed on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), digitisation, and modern technologies aimed at enhancing the Indian Army’s combat readiness and future warfighting capabilities.

Commendation Cards Awarded to Personnel
General Dwivedi awarded COAS Commendation Cards to selected personnel in recognition of their exceptional dedication, professionalism, and outstanding service. He praised the troops for maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and urged all ranks to continue striving for excellence in every sphere of duty.

Interaction with Veterans
The Army Chief also interacted with veterans stationed in the area, acknowledging their continued contribution to society and their role in strengthening the image of the Indian Army. He appreciated their efforts in nation-building and for remaining closely connected with the military community.
The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s focus on modernisation, technological integration, and sustained operational readiness, while also recognising the invaluable contributions of both serving personnel and veterans.
