Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC), addressed participants of the Joint Operational Capability Assessment Programme (JOCAP) at the Air Warfare College (AWC).
During his address, the Air Marshal spoke about the growing progress in jointness and integration among the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, emphasising the need for a synergised approach to tackle challenges in the modern multi-domain battlefield environment.

Focus on Multi-Domain Operations
He highlighted that future conflicts will increasingly involve simultaneous operations across multiple domains including land, air, sea, cyber and space, making joint planning and integrated operations essential for operational success.
Air Marshal Dixit stressed that inter-service coordination, real-time information sharing and integrated command structures will play a vital role in enhancing the combat effectiveness of the Indian Armed Forces.

The interaction at AWC aimed to familiarise officers with joint operational concepts and evolving military strategies, enabling them to respond effectively to emerging security challenges.
