The Combat Leadership Course at the Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Academy, Dhana, concluded on 28 March 2026, marking the successful completion of an intensive training programme aimed at enhancing the leadership and operational capabilities of Junior Leaders in the Indian Army.
The course brought together Non-Commissioned Officers from various regiments who underwent a rigorous and specialised training curriculum designed to prepare them for modern battlefield challenges. The training focused on developing combat leadership skills, decision-making under pressure, and adaptability in a rapidly evolving, technology-centric warfare environment.

Participants were exposed to contemporary operational concepts, including the integration of advanced technologies, situational awareness tools, and modern combat tactics. The curriculum emphasised both physical endurance and mental resilience, ensuring that NCOs are equipped to lead troops effectively in high-stress combat scenarios.

The closing ceremony was presided over by Brigadier Lalit Sharma, Shaurya Chakra, Sena Medal, Commandant of the NCO Academy. In his address, he shared valuable insights on the Indian Army’s “Decade of Transformation,” highlighting the ongoing evolution in training, technology adoption, and operational preparedness. Among the standout performers, Naik Bharat Singh of the Rajput Regiment was awarded the prestigious Army Commander ARTRAC Trophy for being adjudged the overall Best Student of the course. His performance reflected exceptional leadership qualities, tactical understanding, and consistency throughout the training period.
In a significant addition to the awards, the inaugural Best Techno Warrior Trophy was presented to Naik Narinder Singh of the Regiment of Artillery.
