Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh, Army Commander of the Western Command, reviewed the operational preparedness of the Airawat Division under Kharga Corps during a high-intensity field exercise.
The exercise witnessed mechanised forces showcasing their battlefield dominance through coordinated and rapid manoeuvres. Tanks and armoured vehicles demonstrated their capability to operate seamlessly across varied terrain, reflecting the Indian Army’s focus on mobility, speed, and shock action in modern warfare.

A key highlight of the exercise was the successful negotiation of water obstacles through advanced flotation and fording operations. These complex drills underscored the division’s capability to maintain offensive momentum even in challenging terrain, ensuring operational flexibility in diverse combat scenarios.
The exercise also highlighted innovative solutions adopted by the formation to counter emerging threats and evolving battlefield challenges. Emphasis was placed on integrating technology with traditional combat tactics to enhance effectiveness and survivability.

Lt Gen Singh commended the troops for their professionalism, high standards of training, and operational readiness. The review reaffirmed the Western Command’s commitment to maintaining a high level of preparedness and adaptability in line with the dynamic security environment.
