Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command, visited Bhubaneswar Military Station to review ongoing infrastructure development and welfare initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the Armed Forces community.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on key projects focused on strengthening military-civil synergy, improving administrative efficiency, enhancing healthcare support, and upgrading welfare facilities for serving personnel, veterans, and their families.
Lt Gen Sengupta reviewed the progress of various development works and interacted with personnel to gain first-hand insight into initiatives being undertaken to improve operational support, administrative responsiveness, and overall living conditions within the station.

The Army Commander also assessed measures designed to strengthen support systems for ex-servicemen and dependants while ensuring the effective delivery of welfare services across the military community.
He appreciated the sustained efforts of the Madhya Bharat Area in modernising infrastructure, improving facilities, and fostering a responsive welfare ecosystem for serving soldiers, veterans, and their families.
Officials stated that the visit underscored the Indian Army’s continued focus on infrastructure development, welfare enhancement, and comprehensive support for the Armed Forces fraternity while promoting stronger civil-military cooperation.
