A total of 3,650 Agniveers were formally attested at the Artillery Centre, Nasik, marking the successful culmination of their rigorous military training and their induction into the ranks of the Indian Army.
The Attestation Parade, conducted with military precision and discipline, signified the transformation of the recruits into trained soldiers ready to shoulder the responsibilities of serving the nation.

The ceremony was reviewed by the Commandant, Artillery Centre, who inspected the parade and congratulated the Agniveers on successfully completing their demanding training programme. The event reflected the high standards of professionalism, discipline and military excellence maintained at one of the Indian Army’s premier training establishments.
A special highlight of the occasion was the presentation of “Gaurav Padaks” to proud parents in recognition of their invaluable contribution to nation-building and their support in encouraging their children to serve the nation in uniform.

The presence of family members added emotional significance to the ceremony as they witnessed the successful culmination of months of hard work, dedication and perseverance by the young soldiers.
Throughout their training, the Agniveers underwent comprehensive instruction in military skills, physical conditioning, weapon handling, fieldcraft, discipline and leadership development, preparing them to meet the challenges of modern military operations.
Addressing the newly attested soldiers, senior officers encouraged them to uphold the highest traditions and values of the Regiment of Artillery and the Indian Army. They were urged to serve with courage, integrity, professionalism and an unwavering commitment to duty.

The parade marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Agniveers, who now step forward as disciplined and determined Gunners of the Indian Army, ready to contribute to the nation’s defence and security.
