Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Sapta Shakti Command, called on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and briefed him on the operational readiness and preparedness of the Army’s South Western Command.
During the meeting, the Army Commander apprised the Raksha Mantri of the formation’s continued efforts to maintain a high state of operational readiness across all military domains. He highlighted key aspects of the Command’s preparedness, capability enhancement initiatives and its focus on ensuring combat effectiveness in an evolving security environment.

The meeting also marked the culmination of Lt Gen Manjinder Singh’s tenure as the Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, ahead of his superannuation at the end of June.
