A Promotion and Pipping Ceremony was held at the CISF Unit DMRC in Delhi, marking a significant career milestone for 48 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel who were promoted from Constable/GD to Head Constable/GD.
The ceremony celebrated the dedication, hard work and commitment demonstrated by the personnel during their service. The newly promoted Head Constables were formally adorned with their new ranks as they stepped into positions carrying greater responsibilities.
The occasion was graced by Shri Santosh Chalke, DIG/DMRC, along with Shri Gurjeet Singh, Senior Commandant, Shri Pauliankap, Senior Commandant, and other CISF officers.

Senior officers congratulated the promoted personnel and highlighted that promotion is not only recognition of past performance but also the beginning of increased responsibility and leadership within the force.
The elevation from Constable/GD to Head Constable/GD places the 48 personnel in roles requiring greater responsibility, discipline and commitment while carrying out security duties.

The ceremony reflected a proud moment for the personnel and their colleagues, recognising their professional progress and years of dedicated service.
With their new rank, the promoted personnel are expected to take on their enhanced responsibilities with renewed motivation while continuing to uphold the discipline, professionalism and commitment associated with the CISF.

The CISF plays a crucial role in securing critical infrastructure and important installations across the country, including the Delhi Metro network, where its personnel are responsible for maintaining security across one of India’s busiest urban transport systems.
