No. 14 Squadron of the Indian Air Force, famously known as the “Bulls”, celebrated its Platinum Jubilee at a forward base under Western Air Command, marking 75 years of service, operational excellence and commitment to the nation.
Raised in 1951, the squadron has traversed four generations of fighter aircraft during its long operational journey. Its aviation legacy began with the legendary Spitfire and evolved through successive generations of combat aircraft, culminating in its association with the Jaguar Deep Penetration Strike Aircraft.
The Platinum Jubilee celebrations brought together generations of serving and veteran Air Warriors who have been associated with the squadron over the decades.
