Indian Air Force Group X & Y Online Exam Postponed

Indian Air Force airmen exam for group X and Y is postponed for now as per the official website of the Indian Air Force for airmen selection airmenselection.cdac.in. The exam is also known as STAR scheduled test for airmen recruitment which is an online exam for the airmen selection and it was getting conducted for the first time. As per the official website, a new exam date will be issued soon to the candidates. We have seen the similar issues during AFCAT online exam which is also conducted by CDAC, many candidates who took AFCAT online exam on 25th Feb 2018, faced a lot of technical glitches like automatic session timeout, laggy server, loss of time and not able to submit the exam after completion, many candidates were also not able to take the AFCAT online exam due to technical issues and will be issued fresh date and admit card.

Dear Candidates,
The scheduled test for airmen recruitment (STAR) is postponed and will not be held on 10th and 11th March 2018 due to technical reasons. Fresh dates of exam will be announced shortly. We understand the inconvenience caused to you because of the change of date. Fresh date for issue of admit card would also be announced soon.

This new Airforce online exam system was announced last year and still, CDAC was not able to manage the exam properly. Earlier AFCAT and now STAR exam date for Airmen is postponed.

For the first time, candidates are paying an exam fee of around 250 INR to take the Indian Air Force exam and the exam management as reported by the candidates is very poor.
AFCAT candidates have explained about the ill management of the online exam centers and how easy it is to cheat during the online exam.
CDAC has a very laggy software with full of bugs, candidates are not sure and can keep 100% faith in the results.
CDAC need to work hard to provide the error-free exam software and also keep an eye on the various exam centers to make sure there is no cheating.

Before CDAC, Indian Air Force has conducted the similar exams offline successfully every year. If CDAC is incompetent to provide a better online exam management, it should better refund the money to the students and the contract must pass to someone else with better facilities and technology.

CDAC online registration was so poor that it charged many candidates multiple times and on top of that, they were not registered successfully even after paying multiple payments.
