In a display of continued commitment to maintaining security and counter-terrorism efforts in the region, Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar, the Army Commander of Northern Command (ArmyCdrNC), accompanied by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Chinar Corps, conducted a visit to a Rashtriya Rifles Battalion deployed in South Kashmir’s Counter Terrorism Grid. This visit aimed to assess the operational preparedness and morale of the troops engaged in counter-terrorism duties in this strategically sensitive area.
During the visit, Lt Gen Kumar reviewed the Battalion’s overall operational readiness and commended the troops for their exemplary performance and strategic planning, particularly recognizing their efforts in Operation Halkhan Gali, Anantnag.
