As part of the ongoing Tri-Services Exercise, the Agnibaaz Division of the Indian Army’s Southern Command successfully conducted Exercise AgniDrishti, showcasing advanced integration of land, air, space, and unmanned ISR assets into a network-centric sensor-to-shooter architecture.
The exercise validated a new decision support system that seamlessly integrates drones, counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), electronic warfare assets, and enhanced airspace awareness, leveraging satellite inputs, artificial intelligence, and sensor fusion to provide real-time multi-domain intelligence.
Key operational highlights included persistent RPA surveillance missions, weapon-locating radar (WLR)-enabled counter-battery targeting, and deep insertion special forces detachments, all contributing to increased operational tempo and situational dominance across the theatre.
Command Review and Commendation
The exercise was reviewed by Lieutenant General Arvind Chauhan, GOC Sudarshan Chakra Corps, who commended the troops for their precision in sensor fusion and fire-control integration, emphasizing the formation’s ability to achieve information superiority and kinetic dominance in modern high-intensity operations.
