Aim High to Achieve Success in SSB

Aim High to Achieve Success in SSB

Suddenly I see a growing madness for defence. Youth are now crazy to approach for that uniform. Is this craziness love for the motherland or today’s youth is attracted towards the shine of the profile, respect and the facilities you start earning when you are inducted as an officer. I am sure if you want to serve the defence forces you need purity at the heart. I am quite sure that the assessors at SSB looks for all the quality and make sure that no wrong element gets into our forces. They are specially trained for all this. Life glows when the uniform comes in and the stars shine on the shoulder. Not everyone is lucky enough to achieve all this in life. And believe me this is something you earn and not get without hard work. Life shines only when you have purity of thought and want something sincerely. You are ready to devote everything you love and have just one target, to clear the SSB and be an officer of Indian defence forces.

Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss you’ll land among the stars ~~Les brown
This statement makes me feel what every individual should do. Rightly said, always set your targets high so that even if you miss your original dream you land at a position which is also respectable in society. Now this does not mean that you should not realise your capability before setting of targets. Realistic goals should only be set because once you achieve them the morale is boosted and you have a desire to achieve more. Even if you achieve failure you tend to learn where you went wrong and hence the learning of not to repeat the mistakes is there. Failure also teaches that there was some gap we left in our preparation and our goal which led to such results. But yes if you put your full efforts without worrying the end results, you definitely feel satisfied of performing your best.

ssb bhopal

Many aspirants ask me that their only goal in life is to join defence forces and they have left everything else for them. I would suggest you keep trying till your last attempt, but don’t forget your other responsibilities, you have ageing parents, don’t keep your dependency over them for long, stand on your foot somewhere else and prove your mettle. Clearing SSB, and joining the forces should not be the last dream but it should be one of the dream. Don’t allow to waste your talent. Getting rejected in SSB does not mean you are good for nothing, it simply means you were a misfit for the forces. There are many rays of hope. Keep trying and give you best shot. If you need mentorship join me on facebook and mail me at [email protected] , it would be my pleasure to help future officers.

Important Interview Questions of SSB

4

Interview is the most essential part for SSB. Though it seems to be tough but it is the easiest out of the three. Now you all would be guessing why I feel so.

It’s because this is the only round where you can take the command in your hand and drive the whole process. The fact should be known that interviewer gives you a chance first to express the interest and describe yourself.

Such an initiative is taken so that you become comfortable to the environment and then he can start the real testing process. This is the only chance where you can take the hold in your hand and deliver him your interest areas.

Human psychology has the tendency that it remembers only the latest things that are told to him hence such things would last long and he would be bound to test you in those parameters.
Once the hold is with you, you should know how to take it forward. You should only disclose those areas where you are confident and should be yourself always.

If you anyway try to cheat at any position, remember that you would be thrown out. The interviewer would test how synchronised your mind, body and heart are. Also he tries to extract some of the qualities through the interaction. This should match with the PIQ which the candidate has filled the very first day.

The match should be perfect between the qualities of yours known by you and what he extracts. If there is a misfit your chances are bleak. Few questions that might be asked could be related to:

  • Types of friends
  • Good/ bad qualities of your friends
  • Time spent in hobbies
  • How do you recreate things
  • Sports and games that you enjoy
  • General awareness about the latest happenings
  • Social work that you do or have interest in
  • How do you keep yourself
  • Relation that you prioritise
  • How you deal with difficult situations
  • Attitude toward teacher

The above list is not at all exhaustive and could have other options also. The interest shown by you in all these sections will lead to further sub sections where more details would be desired.

The only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work ~~ Steve jobs

The above statement is said by Steve jobs which clearly signifies that be proud of whatever you do and do it full heartedly, else whatever be the result, you would always feel that you could have better performed.

Remember don’t worry for the end result just give your best shot result is just the desirable outcome of what you do and if there is nothing wrong in input the output would always be good. Do send your queries by posting message and add me on Facebook. I would be happy to help you in getting close to your dream.

Hard Work Is the Key to Success in SSB Interview

Hard Work Is the Key to Success in SSB Interview

A dream does not become reality through magic, it takes sweat, determination and hard work ~~ Colin Powell

In this modern world people have started believing that hard work has been substituted by the smart work. It might be correct that sometimes smart work pays but my dear aspirants the place where you are trying to go is not the place where smart work works, there you have to work hard every second to serve and you should have the passion for your motherland. Not you would like to argue with me that what’s bad in doing smart work if done with integrity and passion. See f your smart work has the elements of passion and integrity the definition becomes somewhat similar to hard work. Once you love whatever you are doing, once you start associating yourself with it, once you feel this is your very own work, you tend to give quality with it.

Who in this world would do work meant for others with wholesome sincerity apart from my soldiers who are just living not for themselves, not for their families, but only for their motherland. Day and night they have that sense to serve their motherland in a better way. And that’s why our motherland and other citizens feel safe to live in our country. Our countries progress could be because of them only.
Please remember there is nothing as magic. The people who are top notch have reached that place with hard work and struggle. You name any big personality and read his/ her biography, you will see the struggle. It’s easy to say that GOD has not given us anything and I keep on failing in SSB, I am screen out. SSB is a place where there is no limit to take the candidates or to throw them out. In fact it’s the only exam where if all the applicants fit in their criteria will be selected or if no one fits the whole batch is washed out.

SSB Interview

So the key will be to introspect yourself rather than playing the blame game. SSB is an exam where you can clear by mere analysis of self and just by being yourself. Now this might not be a tough task for an individual. So does this not make SSB the easiest exam? I always say my mentees that yes SSB is the easiest exam, just follow the synchronisation of your brain and heart and see the magic. If you don’t believe just try this simple formula of succeeding in SSB but yes this has no shortcut you need to work hard with yourself. Do spend time with yourself and analyse your strengths and weakness. I am sure success will be yours. For any other troubles you are facing do contact me on facebook with your message and I will get back to you or drop a mail at [email protected].

Meditation:  Our mind mostly concentrates on an unhealthy factor such as on lust that automatically leads to agitation and make the mind distracted. Therefore, meditation is one of the best ways to concentrate on healthy factors and make our mind stable.
Pranayama: Pranayama means a pause in the moment of breath. The practice of Pranayama introduces higher pressure in the central canal of the spinal cord and brain.  .  The spiritual advantage of Pranayama can help to develop an individual’s personality by developing healthy and positive factors such as social adaptability, self confidence, positive attitude, courage, self restraint, correct physical attributes, and power of expression, integrity, determination and accountability.
Yoga: Yogic breathing is used to maximize inhalation and exhalation.  Its purpose is to gain control of the breath, correct poor breathing habits and increase oxygen intake. This practice cools the body and mind and reduces mental and emotional excitations. It also helps to relieve stress and cerebral tension, alleviate anger, anxiety, and insomnia and reduces blood pressure. There are many kinds of yoga which are recommended to be practiced such as Saithilya Asana, Shalabhasana, Marjari Asana, chakrasana; etc in order to recover many diseases but these should be practiced under proper guidance of an expert.
