The Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya witnessed a grand spectacle on Saturday morning during its 24th Passing Out Parade. The academy was adorned in traditional military attire for the occasion. Following the parade, a Pipping Ceremony was conducted where military officers took their oaths.
This year, a total of 128 cadets graduated from OTA Gaya, including participants from seven friendly countries. The cohort comprised 121 Indian cadets, five from Bhutan, and two from Vietnam. Notably, Uttar Pradesh contributed the highest number of cadets, with 31 graduates, followed by 13 from Uttarakhand, nine from Rajasthan, six from Madhya Pradesh, and three from Bihar.
The parade featured cadets from the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) course number 42, including 101 officers and seven officers from friendly countries. Additionally, 27 officers from the Special Commission Officer Course number 51 also graduated. The TES-48 course saw 90 officer cadets participate in the parade, who are set to join various Army Cadet Training Wings for engineering degrees.
