ssb interview dates

Sometimes it is hard to attend the SSB interview on allotted dates, but there are few options which can help you to postpone your SSB interview schedule. Most of the time you will be getting two dates for SSB interview, one is regular and another is absentee or secondary date. Sometime a secondary date helps, but if both dates are not convenient for you, you may go with the following approach.

1. Call the allotted board: Best thing is to call the allotted SSB and ask them to prepone or postpone the SSB interview date for you, you may or may not get the different date.
2. Mail or Fax them: Send them a mail in addition to call, also write a letter with a genuine reason to postpone or prepone the SSB schedule for you. Fax the same, you will get the phone, e-mail and fax details in the call letter or you may check Services Selection Board contact details.
3. Write an application: You can write and send an application to them, consider this also an addition to what is mentioned above. You can send an official application to the call up officer of the concerned board.

Soon Indian army is going to announce the list of shortlisted candidates for TGC-117 SSB interviews. Only shortlisted candidates will be getting chance to attended the SSB interview for the course commencing in July 2013 at IMA.

TGC-118 Notification Indian Army 2013

Some of you might have noticed that Indian army is also considering PCM marks in TGC and SSC-tech, candidates with less than 70% in PCM were not able to apply online for TGC-117 earlier. This could be a benchmark in tech entries in future.

But the question regarding the TGC 117 cut off is still a mystery. TGC-117 cut off is 63%. TGC and SSC-tech entries do not have a fixed cut off percentage, you will not find the cut off for TGC or cut off for SSC-tech in the official advertisement. Questions and answers given below may solve your confusion regarding TGC-117.

IMA

1. Am I eligible for TGC and SSC-tech?

If you satisfy the eligibilty conditions like age, qualification, branch etc then you are elgible irrespective to your %age in BE/B.tech. But, it doesn’t mean that you are shortlisted for SSB, only shortlisted candidates [based on %age in BE/Btech] will be getting SSB calls.

2. I have more than cut off  %age, still I didn’t get my name on the list?

There can be many other reasons like branch not eligible, unsuccessful online submission, duplicate entry etc.
Also there can be multiple list as well, wait for more lists or contact Army directly.

3. Is my branch eligible ?

All branches which are mentioned in the official advertisement are eligible only.

4. I am still confused !!

Contact Indian Army directly.
