Hello aspirants. This is Chinmay Shriram Joshi from Pune, Maharashtra. I had always heard the proverb ‘Persistence Always Pays’ but on 14 July 2017 I experienced its real meaning. After 3 long years and 5 failed attempts, I have finally made it. I have been recommended for the flying branch of the Indian Air Force from 3 AFSB Gandhinagar and have subsequently cleared the Computerized Pilot Selection System test (CPSS) from 1 AFSB Dehradun.
Since class VIII I dreamt of joining the Indian Armed Forces. I started pursuing my dream and studied hard for NDA. I cleared the written examination twice but was conference out from 22 SSB Bhopal and 20 SSB Bhopal in 2014 and 2015 respectively. I also got a call for TES-33 but got screened out from 17 SSB Bangalore. However these initial setbacks did not deter me from my goal. I pursued Bsc(Computer Science) from Ferguson College, Pune. The 3 years at Ferguson completely changed me. Refreshed, I appeared for AFCAT in August 2016 and cleared it. But luck did not favour me then as well. I got screened out from 2 AFSB Mysore. I met a similar fate when I got screened out from 17 SSB Bangalore for IMA-143. However I had learnt to face failure and rise every time.
I cleared the AFCAT again in February 2017 and got a call for the AFSB on the 10th of July from 3 AFSB Gandhinagar. This time, however, I decided to focus more on my attitude rather than specific tests. I decided to enjoy the entire duration of the AFSB and leave the baggage of previous failures behind. Also, I concentrated at the task at hand and did not think of recommendation everytime, though it was always there at the back of my mind.
On the 10th of July, our screening was conducted immediately after the reporting. 30 of us were screened in and I was given chest number 16. The screening was followed by the psychological tests in the evening. The difference that I noticed during the psych tests this time was the spontaneity. My responses were natural and there was no preemption anywhere. In the GD and the GPE I did not speak frequently, but whenever I spoke I gave out valid and logical points which were further discussed by the group. My ideas at the PGT,HGT, and FGT worked too. In my personal interview, the IO asked me,” So Chinmay, do you drink or smoke?”. I replied,” No Sir” upon which he asked me crudely,” Then why do you want to join the bloody Indian Air Force?” “Sir I want to join to fly and not to drink” I replied and both of us laughed later. My interview lasted for just 25 minutes.
In my conference, the moment I sat down, the DSO asked me,” Chinmay what is failure?” to which I replied,” Sir it is the foundation of success”. “Have you faced failure in life?”.”No sir, I have just met with obstacles”, I replied. After everyone’s conference was over, the DSO came into the hall to announce the results. He opened the file and said,” So gentlemen, we have recommended only one candidate today. And his chest number is 1………6………16!!!”. Upon hearing my chest number, I couldn’t feel my feet and was totally numb. From the day I had been conference out for the first time I had always known that this day would definitely come. My family, friends and well wishers had supported me throughout this journey. Especially my grandfather whom I had lost just a week before my AFSB.

Girls may soon be allowed to take admission at Sainik schools and National Defence Academy (NDA). The government is considering to implement such a proposal, Union Minister Subhash Ramrao Bhamre told the Lok Sabha today. He further added that there are proposals are pending for setting up 21 more schools in the country; a total of 26 sainik schools are there as of now. To this, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley added that Rs. 80 crore has been allocated from the Budget for these schools. During the question hour, today Arun Jaitley also said that there are 26 Sainik schools spread across 22 states and the remaining states have been requested to the indicate their requirements for such schools.
The matter is under the consideration of the ministry, he said.
In the written reply, Arun Jaitley mentioned how Sainik schools and the Rashtriya Military schools have proven their utility by providing a large number of cadets joining the NDA. Supporting his statement he stated that in 2016, 29.33 cadets sent to NDA were from Sainik Schools, which comprised of a total of 159 cadets. During this period, 31 cadets or 5.71 per cent were from Rashtriya Military schools. One of the objectives for opening Sainik Schools, as Jaitley, is ‘removing regional imbalance in the officer cadre of the defence services.’
To another question, Jaitley said no new regiment has been raised since Independence, while the sub units raised were as per the existing nomenclature and numerical seniority of the units in that regiment.
“As per government policy on the subject, all citizens irrespective of their class, creed, region or religion are eligible for enrolment in the Indian Army. After Independence, it has been the policy of the Government of India not to raise any new Regiment for a particular class/community/religion or region,” he said.

Normal levels of stress or nervousness can help you work, think faster and more effectively, and improve your performance. However, when higher levels of anxiety affect performance, it becomes a problem. And when it comes to Picture Perception & Description Test (PPDT) in SSBs, anxiety levels can be overwhelming and make us suffer as a result of poor performance. Let’s read some ways to control nervousness just before the PPDT
You have just sat down in the exam hall and you feel your panic starts to develop: Make yourself comfortable. Have you been to the toilet? Take a few deep breaths and sighs to reduce tension. Sit with your eyes closed for a little while.
Most of the candidates feel tense at the point of narration: Whatever your state of preparation, your task now is to do your best.
Focus on the test: Let your thoughts to flow. Visualize what it will be like in the next few minutes and plan how are you gonna respond. For the narration part, just collect all pieces of your story point wise in your mind and deliver fluently.
Do your best to ignore everyone else while you are in the testing hall: Not easy, but it helps.
Just before the group discussion, if your panic gets worse: move out, take some fresh air and relax. Drink some water. Breathe slowly and close your eyes for a few moments. Shake your arms. Move your head slowly from side to side to relieve tension. Say something positive and encouraging to yourself. Imagine yourself somewhere else (where you feel happy and relaxed).
Approach screening with confidence: Use whatever strategies you can to personalize success; visualization, logic, talking to yourself, practice, personal situation and skills. View it as an opportunity to demonstrate your personality traits.
Allow yourself plenty of time: Especially to do things you need to do before the test and still get there a little early to avoid the hassle.
Strive for a relaxed state of concentration: Avoid thinking before the PPDT session. It diverts your concentration.
Don’t think about the fear: Pause, think about the next step and keep on and follow the tasks, step by step.
Current Affairs questions will be from last 5-7 months (for AFCAT, NDA, CDS, TA)
Use positive reinforcement for yourself: Acknowledge that you have done, and are doing, your best. This boosts your confidence to a different level.
Expect some anxiety: It’s a reminder that you want to do your best and can provide strength.
Just keep it manageable.
Realize that anxiety can become a “habit”: And it takes practice to use it as a tool to succeed.
Be prepared: Organize what materials you will need for and before the test; like your call letter, documents, pens, etc. Use a checklist. When you have all things organized beforehand, you are stress-free.
Be on time: Half of your anxiety is caused when you are late for the test. Start early. Don’t work too close to the test, a night before or in the morning itself. Do something relaxing like take a walk, have a shower, etc.
After the test, review how you did: Prepare an outline of what worked and hold onto those strategies. It does not matter how small those efforts are, they are the building blocks to your success. Also, list what did not work and mark it for improvement. Celebrate that you are on the road to overcoming these obstacles.
Hello, friends. This is Nishchay. I am not a writer ( trying to share what many thinks, can be motivational. I have cleared SSB for the INDIAN ARMY SSC (JAG) 19 entry in my first attempt. A boy from a small town in Chhattisgarh who was inspired by the sounds of the artillery of Boforce during INDO PAK KARGIL war 1999. I can proudly say I lived for 18 years with the dream of becoming a Soldier for my mother nation. I will tell you more about myself with my experience at 34 SSB Allahabad.
This was actually the second time I went to Allahabad for my JAG entry SSB INTERVIEW. Yeah… Second time. I was called for the JAG 18 Course on 03 of December 2016. I went to the center, had the breakfast and was sent back…. ( I was unable to present my provisional degree as its delivery was delayed. I went to the Sangam with 4 guys similar to my case (who are now my friend) who accompanied me when I was sent back. 3 of us had a dip in the Ganges and took the train back home. I still remember the CARIAPPA DWAR where I promised myself that I will come, the next time with full documents. :p yes. Nothing more.
Soon I was back, completed all my documentation and started waiting for the next notification which was out soon. I was ready & ensured that no one could send me back for the documents this time.
Received the call letter this time the date was again 03 but of July 2017. On 2nd of July had my LL.M entrance exam at Delhi. so, I left home on 29th mid night reached Delhi on1st of July gave the exam as it was in the morning shift, reached New Delhi railway station and took Garibrath exp to reach ALLAHABAD junction near about 2330 hr. I waited at the railway station till the morning, got myself ready for the day 1 and reached the SSB centre.
DAY 1
I was shivering during documentation and was terrified as a small error in my 10th mark sheet was identified by them. But it was accepted. We were allotted chest no and mine was 17. I gave the intelligence test, attempted almost every question. We were almost 80+ (as I think I saw chest no near to it) we were divided in a small group starting from chest no 14-22 we had a GD which never turned to be a debate. We had lunch and were called for the result. The officer started calling the chest no. It started from chest no. 1 then, 9, 16… I had my finger crossed and then suddenly it was chest no. 18. I quickly realized my chest was not called and started to quickly think of my mistakes. Suddenly I heard the officer calling chest no. 17, I ran quickly and then new chest no was allotted to me which was 10. 22 of us were screened in. I was relaxed and was happy and now it was the time to make new friends.
Day 2
It was the time for the unpredictable psych test. I just said to myself it’s simple I need to be positive and “yes” as I can do it. TAT was good, I did 60 WAT and 51 SRT which I thought was not bad. But then my calculations failed as I was not able to complete my SD in time. I was not really happy with myself and was facing an awkward situation. But now it comes the time when friends came up with their positive approach. Especially CHEST NO . 3, 5 and 11. Almost all were called for the interview on the second day except chest no. 10(me) -15.

It was the GTO series and suddenly I thought I have created another blunder by not completing my GPE solution. But now, it was the time to look forward with my potential to give my best. It was the GPT and I frequently gave workable ideas and now the positivity was embracing me.
it was raining heavily and the mud & water made the planks really heavy and the rope more rigid. During the half group task I was called with 2 of my group mates and again I gave my best, but the heavy plank was down from a structure directly on my left foot and damaged my thumb nail. It was damn painful and I quickly realized it was broken from inside leaving me with unbearable pain.
It was the time for the snake race and I was ready mentally to just give my 200% using the gainful experience of the DAHI LOOT festival celebrated in my home town. I with chest no. 11 became the platform to help our team members to climb the 2 walls and I was the last to cross the walls taking advantage of my thin build body and 5’11’’ height. I took the charge when the team needed me and climbed the obstacles to give additional support from the front. I even volunteered to repeat when the GTO said we have made mistake. We won and were very happy, increasing my personal morale.
Then it was the Group discussion which was again very smooth as we had great respect for all the views from everyone (even though we all were practicing lawyers) 😛
Command task was set in the rain and we waited almost 2 hours for the heavy rain to stop. I was asked many ideas with rising difficulty level and I knew I have shown my strength and successfully dealt with the problems. Lecturette was average as my communication skill is a bit average (as I consider). FGT was a bit messy as we all wanted to give the ideas but even then I got the chance to throw some valuable ideas.
But, this time my pain reached its height and the swelling made it difficult even to warm up the body before the individual obstacle. While my team members were having a short run to warm their muscles I sat there and was trying to make me understand that I can’t give up now. We went to the obstacle ground I was the third to be called I just said to myself “ forget the Pain just for 3 minutes” as soon as I heard whistle sound, I started running aimlessly forgetting nearly everything, I found I have completed 10 without any mistake and now I was going to repeat. I completed 10+4=14 obstacle and after completing sat down saying “I am proud of you Nishchay” (
Have I missed something??
Yes… it’s my interaction with the interviewing officer/my interview.
After coming from the GTO day 1 with a white T-shirt that turned to yellow. I took bath and was on the way to face the interviewer. By that time I generated a positive outlook as I was satisfied with my GTO day 1 performance. I went there waited for 10 mins and was called inside and now it was the time to face my biggest fear of SSB “THE INTERVIEW”. It started with some general questions and the first serious Question was.
NISHCHAY, why you want to join the forces?
I said. Sir, I want to earn PVC. (It was a serious reply … as this was the sole factor that motivated me from my childhood even without actually knowing the circumstances in which it is awarded)
I knew, the same reply was given by CAPTAIN MANOJ PANDEY PVC during his interview and many warned me not to say this… but I wanted to be loyal and thus I said.
Then PRESIDENT Sir asked.
I hope you know How to earn it?
I replied in yes, and explained the basic criteria for attaining the highest WAR time gallantry award.
It was the time for some questions from my entry i.e. LEGAL
and it was all about article 370. I explained in details the whole article and other Provisions related to it.
I was asked my STRENGTH and WEAKNESS
CIQ 1 was AVERAGE as I replied to some questions which were not asked.
Interviewer stopped me and I said sorry…
The interviewer was frequently looking at the watch placed above my head which made me nervous. I was frequently controlling my nerves and was replying to the questions.

What were the problems faced in financing education?
I never wanted to gain sympathy but the atmosphere made me reply.
my father sells Panipuri/Fulke and yes I had financial issues. so I started working when I was in class 10th. I have worked as a NEWSPAPER Hawker, a flower seller in the temple, salesman, tutor and teacher which helped me a lot to learn from the world. I continued my studies with my father’s support and the positive slope of my academics from class 10th onward made it my USP which I think I presented accurately.
In my personal view, my INTERVIEW was AVERAGE and I rated myself to be in 3rd or 4th place among 22 of us.
Judgment day, the Conference
It was the judgment day as I wrote it in my notebook in May 2017 while practicing SRT.
We went to the hall and after some time it started. I was worried as the interview was average and not completing the SD and GPE made me more vulnerable as I thought.
I was sitting outside the room it was chest 9 he went inside within 5 mins he moved out to the waiting area. Now it was my no. every minute of waiting made me more furious. It took nearly 10 mins and finally I was called, I went inside and saw the President as my focus was on him.
he asked me about my stay, food, and general questions and then the question was, what do you think you have found about yourself.
and I said I have learned to be more friendly and adaptable than before. I was loyal to me and him.
Then, what do you think how have you performed in last 5 days?
I said… sir, I have tried.Tried my best.
Then, the question was.
What if not recommended.
I took a deep breath. I replied. My Judicial services result is awaited. I am preparing myself to be an IAS. I will become an officer and will come back through TA entry but will be back for sure, to earn that olive green uniform.
And I was asked to leave
we all waited and then the result was announced.
I heard chest no 10. I was shocked I stood up.. Officer asked me my roll no. I replied.. but the officer said
“I think I have called for a wrong person.”
I quickly took out my application, replied loudly
Sir, its chest no. 10, Nishchay Vyas and the correct roll no.
I was happy and wanted someone to hug me very tightly. I hugged my batch mates and was called to fill the forms. I earned + 9 chests no. and then called my dad to tell him the result and I felt I was really privileged to be his son. Then to my mom, as she was out of the station that time.
I can only say to all my dear aspirants,
never lose hope, have patience and keep trying with a positive approach.
This is what I said to myself when I reached the CARIAPPA DWAR on 3rd July.
“ I want it this time and will earn it this time…” just be calm and positive and try to give it as if it’s now or never.
Always Be loyal to yourself and try hard to achieve what you want and what you deserve.

Water Disputes – The 4 Rivers flowing from China to India are the crucial source of water for some Indian states. China has constructed some dams over them and is expected to construct few more on them for diverting the water, which adversely affects the water flow in India. Languchen Khabab, Tackok Khabab, Ma Cha Khabab, Senge Khabab are the 4 rivers that originate from Tibet and comes into the Indian Territory.
Dali Lama – India’s step to shelter Dalai Lama, who has taken shelter in Dharamshala, after his exile. The migration of around 1 lakh Tibetan residents is also a bone of contention between for China. China has alleged that Dalai Lama is provoking people in Tibet against China. Similarly, anti-social activists in India are always considered as the problem by China.
Passage of CPEC through PoK – The passage of the CPEC network from the disputed land between Pakistan and India is also an issue of the disturbance between the two nations. China is keenly involved in its silk route revival project and CPEC is an offshoot of it. The passage of this route through the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Karakoram Highway) is being countered by India.
Apart from these, China has accelerated construction of the roads and rail network along India China border. China is constantly interfering in Indian affairs and trying to get the confidence of south Asian nation which is dependent on India. China has also been seen indulging in South China Sea dispute. But being a border sharer with India and using its veto power in NSG and other international decisions, China has always stood in the on the opposite stand of India. China is also providing crucial facilities like Dam construction, optic fiber network etc. to Nepal which is mostly dependent on India for its cross border trades and business. India is firm on its stand and is focussing on maintaining the harmony and peace between the borders. Side by side India has kept its armed forces on the toes for any disturbing situation.

Notification: Applications are invited from unmarried eligible male/female candidates for grant of Short Service Commission in Executive Branch viz. General Service/Hydro and Technical Branch (General Service/Naval Architecture) and Permanent Commission (PC) in Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC) in the Indian Navy for Jun 18 Course conducted at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. Call up for SSB Candidates will be issued Call Up for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview based on their academic performance till 5th/7th semester for all eligible regular/integrated course respectively.
Minimum %age on Joining INA The candidates will, however be required to pass final examination (BE/B Tech) with minimum 60% before joining INA. The candidates failing to meet minimum cut off %age will not be permitted to join INA Ezhimala.
Note: – (i) Only one application is to be filled by a candidate. (ii) Candidates who are eligible for more than one Branch/Cadre should mention their preference in the application. (iii) Candidates will be shortlisted for SSB based on their first preference. (iv) However, if not shortlisted for the first preference you may be considered for alternate Branch/Cadre subject to availability of spare slots in SSB batches of that Branch/Cadre. SSB interview will be conducted in two Stages. Stage I test consisting of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 days).
Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be appointed for training as per all India merit of SSB marks depending on the number of vacancies.
Change of SSB Centre for the interview is not permissible under any circumstance.
Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates be addressed to the call up officer of the SSB on receipt of call up letter. Candidates are to download the call up letter on receiving intimation from IHQ MoD (N) at SMS/email (provided by candidate in their application).
No compensation will be paid in respect of any injury sustained as a result of tests during SSB interviews.
AC 3 tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for that type of commission. Candidates will carry photocopy of the first page of pass book or cheque leaf where the name, A/C No. & IFSC details are mentioned, while appearing for SSB.
Current Affairs questions will be from last 5-7 months (for AFCAT, NDA, CDS, TA)
TRAINING: Candidates will be inducted as officers in the rank of Sub Lieutenant. Their training is scheduled to commence in Jun 2018 at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. Officer of Tech (GS) & NA/NAIC will undergo 22 Weeks Naval Orientation Course and Officer of Executive GS(X)/Hydro will undergo 44 Weeks Naval orientation Course at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala followed by professional training in Naval Ships and Training Establishments. Full pay & allowances are admissible to officers whilst under training.

Hello everyone. I’m Tamasa Das. I got recommended from 12 SSB Bangalore for Indian Navy from the batch of 27th June 2017. This was my second attempt. I got screened out in my first attempt from 12 SSB Bangalore for the entry UES of Indian Navy from the batch of 22nd February 2017. I prepared myself for those three months by remembering the mistakes I had done in my previous attempt. I am a student of Computer Science Engineering and was waiting for my final semester result at the time of my SSB. Well, I do not come from a defense background still the uniform means a lot to me specially the pride and honour. Well, I have cleared the SSB by myself but I took guidance from one of my friend who was in NDA and also from SSBCRACKOFFICIAL.
I was waiting at the Bangalore station for the selection centre bus. I have talked with few people as I was already a screened out one so I knew that on the first day we would have our documents verification and form fill up procedure. Well on the first day we had our documentation as usual. Later on, the next day we had our PPDT and OIR test. I did more than 90% in the OIR. For PPDT I have written a different story that includes Rifle shooting sports that I do play. While convincing others for the common story that includes the women empowerment as well the equality and female in the sports I cleared the first day. After finishing up all and lunch we were called in Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Hall where screened in chest nos were called and new chest nos were distributed. At that time we were given our phones back and whoever got screened in had to submit the phone again. I got screened in. my chest no was 56 and after I got screened in I got new chest no that is 24. For the screening test this time I narrated my story well and without being panicked like previous time I was confident. 33 girls were screened in from our batch. We were given PIQ form to fill it up.
Next day we had our TAT, WAT, SRT and we had to write 5 paragraphs that include what our parents think of me, our teachers or boss(for those who are in job), our friends or colleagues(for those who are doing job), what we want to change in ourselves and what we think about us. For TAT all the pictures seemed easy to me to write a compact and positive story. I wrote one of my Rock Climbing experience for a picture. For the blank picture, I wrote my Trekking experience. For WAT I wrote 60 out of 60. In SRT I wrote 45 out of 60. Rest paragraphs were written by very clearly by me. On that day few of the candidates were having their interview. I was one of them. The interview was long more than an hour. I was asked questions on my educations and so on and family. Later on the questions were asked in my sports career that includes my current scores in my match, current position, my upcoming national games, my shooting kit, the timing of my swimming, my daily routine, and parents. Later on the reason of joining armed forces. Later on the current affairs, the post I have applied for, Navy, few current incidents including Gorkhaland issue as I am from West Bengal. Technical questions including RADAR its working procedure. Then my relationship with my teachers, my college, as I was Administrative Secretary of my college, what role I had to play etc. the interviewing officer had also asked me how did overcome from screened out to screened in and much more. Overall it was the longest interview I have ever given.
The next day we had our GTO 1. In this day first, we were divided into groups. Group of 8 or 9 girls. We were given two topics to discuss. Though I didn’t initiate I took part in that very clearly with example showed the points that are valid for the topics. Later on, we were given the map and an incident, where we need to find out a plan to stop the terror attack using the map. Well, this is the thing where one must remember the story very clearly cause that story includes several time for several attacks and position of the team. Once the time is over the story won’t be given. Remembering the story you have to write the plan. After finishing the writing within the time we had to discuss the plan and had to find out the minimum path to travel as well as minimum time to stop those attack. We discussed the plan. From my team, all the team members chose me to demonstrate the plan in front of GTO. Basically, the full plan which I had already written was being considered better by my team members. Then we moved to GTO ground for Progressive Group Task. There a person just needs common sense to solve the issue. Three things are there to be remembered. The red area is out of use, the blue area is for standing but not for keeping helping materials and white area is for standing and keeping the helping materials. One must listen very carefully to the instructions and just need to use common sense to find out the path with the wooden plank, rope and bamboo stick. One carrying box is there which must not be kept on the ground. Our team couldn’t complete those 4 obstacles within time but we were given chance to find out path. I did participate very well including sharing ideas as well as finding out the minimum path to cross those obstacles. Later on, we had our half group task that includes half of our team members and there I did perform including sharing ideas.

After that we had our another group task that is snake race, in that task we had to carry a long sand snake and we had to pass few obstacles. While passing those obstacles at least three of the group member should carry the snake and we had to shout our war cry. In that task I was standing in front and each and every obstacle I did cross very clearly. I helped my team members to climb on the wall. As I had done one climbing course before that basic mountaineering course it helped me to pull up my members and also it helped me a lot in all kind of physical task that includes jumping climbing waking on Burma bridge etc. our team couldn’t finish the first but I took care of one thing that none of the team members were left at any obstacles or they got hurt by any means.
On that day we had our Lecturette. In that I chose Indian company vs MNC Company among four options of topics. I told several issues the positive and negative impact as well the solutions and the example, being a student of CSE department I did bring out the MNC company jobs and all, several start up projects and start up companies that are Indian and their market values. We had our Individual Obstacles then. In that, I did almost all of them and repeated four of them. I did those double ditch, Burma bridge, Tarzan swing etc. As I am already in different sports fields, so it helped me a lot to do all those things. I found them not that much tough.
Thus another day ends. The next day we had our GTO 2. In that day few of my team members had their interview. I had my interview before. In GTO 2 command task was there. Two of my team members called me as subordinates. At the time of my command task, I did not only one task but eventually four tasks. Among them, two tasks were done by me with my subordinates rest two I had to do alone. The concept was I was standing on a sinking ship I had to find out a path to reach the shore. After finding out the first path the GTO Sir told me it was destroyed find another one. Thus I had to find out four paths. And rest two were done by me alone.

Well, thus the final day came the conference day. It was one of the breath taking experience that I have ever had. Sitting in front of more than 10 Naval Officers and answering simple questions like how was your stay, what you found here, what is the difference between working with friends in a group and in SSB group etc. I think I have given satisfactory answers. Later on, we were called in Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Hall. Then one of the eminent naval officer had given the closing speech. Later on, we were moved to another hall where we were given our phones back. There another officer announced the final result. Only 6 girls were recommended and there I chest no 24 got the place. Usually, in those 5 days, we used to get liberty time of 4 hours to go out and to roam around the Bangalore in the group. Finally after recommendations we 6 girls were given the medical chest nos and I got chest no +2.each and every day new had our proper time of dinner, lunch, and breakfast. I made friends there and we went out to see the city also. Overall the experience was awesome.
As I was the pilot entry I had to wait for four days and had to go to Mysore for PABT. Later on, my medical examinations had started and it took 4 to 5 days to complete.

Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai—108th SSC Course (NT) (For Men) commencing in October 2018.
Officers Training Academy, Chennai 22nd SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October 2018.
Any graduate can apply for CDS exam but make sure you clear your graduation before the date of training as you have to submit all the educational documents before joining the training. Check the course date as mentioned above, it is obvious if you are completing your graduation after the mentioned date, you are not eligible.
What is the age limit for CDS 2 2017?
For IMA—Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1994 and not later than 1st July 1999 only are eligible.
For Indian Naval Academy—Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1994 and not later than 1st July 1999 only are eligible.
For Air Force Academy—20 to 24 years as on 1st July 2018 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July 1994 and not later than 1st July 1998 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July 1992 and not later than 1st July 1998) only are eligible.
For Officers’ Training Academy—(SSC Course for men) Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1999 only are eligible.
