15 Qualities Of Lady Cadets Every Girl Should Have

0
15 QUALITIES OF LADY CADETS EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE

Strong women rise from the ashes of their former selves. They are built from the fires of hardships and struggles. They earn every bit of their strength.

Toughness, confidence, and independence are most admirable traits of a Lady Officer. A perfect mix of vulnerability and strength, which is not always easy to portray without coming off in a negative light. And a Lady Cadet while being in the training academy polishes her ordinary attributes to that level of extraordinariness where she learns that humility is not about thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less and more of others.

We are all endowed with greatness, and only we can unlock the chest that contains that powerful, priceless spirit.  Sharing some qualities that make Lady Cadets stand out among the rest and which we can inculcate in our lifestyle:

  1. Positive Attitude: There is no energy that can imitate what is released when a positive, high-stepping woman enters a room. A positive attitude is the fuel required to drive us from conceiving an idea to realizing it.
A positive attitude takes conscious effort on your part. Get hold of negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones. Listen to the things you are saying to yourself in your mind. Deliberately use words that focus on constructive, affirming truths about yourself.
To help you stay positive, surround yourself with people who will encourage, inspire and believe in you. If you have a positive attitude, you will be able to see the potential that lies within you.
  2. Courage: Women who have struggled in their lives tend to have astonishing inner strength. Use adversity to your advantage. At the end of a struggle, you are a better, more valuable person. Helen Keller said, “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved.” Find what you are meant to learn in a struggle, and you will see that it isn’t as fierce as it appears to be.
Current Affairs questions will be from last 5-7 months (for AFCAT, NDA, CDS, TA)
  3. Strong Minded: Strong minded doesn’t mean that you are rude, arrogant or superior. On the contrary, a strong-minded woman displays confidence. When you are strong minded, you are empowered, possess a healthy self-image and take responsibility for your life. The pioneering spirit, by its very nature, requires us to consider possibilities that most aren’t brave enough to.
  4. Soft-Hearted: Compassion allows us to reach beyond our cookie-cutter lives and make a difference in the lives of others. By reaching out to others, we grow as individuals. A woman with a compassionate heart has great influence.
  5. Integrity: You don’t need to leave victims in your path to be victorious. You don’t need to step on others to step to the next level. Integrity must be the very core of your character. Always put honor before anything and live by your convictions. As you gain respect and trust, your association with others will grow.
  6. Balance in Life: Our lives revolve around four major categories: family and friends, health, wealth, and spirit. These domains must be balanced to lead a fulfilled life. Evaluate your balance continually. A balanced life allows you to think clearly with imagination and optimism.

  7. Driven by a Cause: Look up for those stars which motivate you to do something. Find the needs in your life ventures and pursue those causes with passion.
  8. Leadership:  Great woman lead. Let everyone know what you have that ignites that flame within. You can help mold the great woman of tomorrow.
  9. Multi tasking: Be a hero at both the home front and the professional front. Like our Lady Officers, manage your personal and professional life and pursue both personal and mission accomplishment.
  10. Fitness: Physical as well as mental fitness has always been recommended for living a healthy lifestyle. Also, it manifests you into a completely different person. You are strong, confident and poised.
  11. Mental Toughness:  Being a strong and mentally tough woman is not about behaving like a man. Instead, it is about embracing your femininity and showing it to the world, while making sure that you take control of the things that you are doing and get them done.
  12. Decision Making: Deciding when to stick it out for yourself for a good cause and when to restrain. Deciding the right prospectives in the wrong situations. Deciding when to give your affirmation. Deciding when to trust your guts. All it simply takes is good decision-making skills. Though nobody is perfect, it’s just fine to accept and forgive yourself for the wrong decisions made.
  13. Adaptability: Nothing in life is constant. Change is a part of life and adaptability is a way of living life. You have to be ready always for all kinds of changes and embrace them heartily as and when it comes.
  14. Passion:  Fill yourself with deep desire and determination to realize your dreams. Make long- term goals and commit yourself to it.
  15. Challenging Lifestyle: You want to keep growing and improving, which is why you must keep pushing yourselves more even onto new boundaries. Make sure that you don’t only do good but better.

Our strength and poise aren’t built in a gym. They built from the trials and tests we encounter in our lives! Remember, STRONG IS BEAUTIFUL!!

Recommended for Indian Navy – NAIC (SSC) JAN 2018 Batch

0
navy ssb candidates

Hello friends, I am Priyanka Chhikara from Haryana. I got recommended for Indian Navy – NAIC entry from 33 SSB Bhopal in first attempt. Getting a chest number with plus sign, it was a dream comes true.

A BRIEF BACKGROUND ABOUT ME

I am BE (IT) graduate and currently pursuing MBA in HR. I have a work experience of about 2 years with IRIS Business (Mumbai) and IBM India         (Bangalore). Being from defence background and having friends in Naval academy, I was constantly getting motivated to be a part of armed forces.

It was my first attempt, so I wanted to give 100%. I started my preparation with the following channels – 1) AFOSOP SSB Guidance 2) SSB ADDA and I was also referring SSBCrack.com. Then I decided to purchase a package of Video lectures, psychological assessment and mock interview by Dr. (Cdr) N K Natrajan from Amazon.in. It was worth one time investment for the preparation. Getting a correct guidance will not only speed up your performance but will also satisfy your mind that you are on a right track and keep pushing yourself on the same path. As Natrajan Sir, rightly said “First attempt is the best attempt.” I gave my 200%, being calm throughout the selection process, didn’t panic and used common sense (:-P) during the tasks.

The story may go long but I assure you, it will be worth reading.

REPORTING DAY: 9 AUGUST 2017 AT 1400HRS

We were 7 Girls, who started journey on 07 Aug from Bangalore to Bhopal and reached on 8 Aug 17, reported next day at MCO. We all became good friends on this SSB journey. At 1300hrs we were picked up for the SSB centre. After reaching, we were allotted accommodation and each room was shared by 6 candidates. In the evening at 1630hrs, we were asked to report to admin block for document verification and allotment of chest number. Total 69 candidates were present. I was allotted with chest no 58. Almost 20-25 were repeaters and rest all were fresher. We were briefed about the do’s and don’ts for comfortable stay and programme for next day procedure.

SCREENING DAY: 10 AUGUST 2017

We were asked to report at 0630hrs and the exam started at 0730hrs.

OIR Test: –    Before taking the exam, we were briefed about the pattern of the exam. Practice booklet was given in order to have an idea of both verbal and non verbal reasoning questions. Verbal Reasoning: 75 Ques in 35 mins were to be done. I was able to complete 51 Questions. Non Verbal Reasoning: 60 Ques in 30 mins. I was able to complete around 53 questions.

PP&DT: – We were shown a hazy picture of a person standing at the window. I had written a story from my life, so it was easy for me to remember and narrate it confidently during the discussion. I had spoken only twice in the discussion, but the timing was perfect. I gave contribution with logic points, supported the group story and we were able to conclude a story.

Result: The screening result was declared after lunch. 24 out of 69 made it to next stage. I was allotted new chest number 12 for next stage.

We were given instructions for our next stage. After keeping our luggage to the re-allotted room and after lunch, we reported to the hall, where we filled PIQ forms and cell phones were deposited.

PSYCHOLOGICAL TEST : 11 AUGUST 2017 AT 0630HRS

TAT: I made positive stories and all of them were related to my life in one way or the other. Time was the major factor here. Be natural in your stories and give workable ideas, which actually could be of use, if you got stuck in that situation. There is a myth among female candidates that your main characters must be a female only. Not required, out of my 12 stories 5 stories were having male lead character. I didn’t made female as my lead if it was not shown in the image instead just wrote down the story with what was shown. For the blank story, you can prepare and go.

WAT: I was able to complete 58 words out of 60. But was also lucky to complete those 2 words after completing SD. So complete all 60 wordsJ. I Didn’t memorised any sentences against any word instead practiced in such a way that after seeing any word, my brain thinks for a cause and effect relation or a simple positive sentence which I believe and follow.

SRT: I had completed 51 situations with complete action and 52nd was left incomplete as time got over.

SD: I had prepared the paragraphs well in my preparation and wrote almost the same.

GTO: 12 & 13 AUGUST 2017 AT 0615 HRS

Being a sportsperson, I love both outdoor and indoor activities. I was very excited about the GTO tasks. We were divided into 3 groups of 8.

GD: I didn’t initiate in both the rounds of GD instead, I listened very carefully for 2-3 candidates. After analysing their level on the topics, I entered the discussion and raised the level of discussion by giving logical points and examples from the news and corporate world (advantage of only working professional in the group) and spoke 4-5 times till the end.

GPE: I gave workable ideas, listened carefully to others, agreed on other points and convinced them on my solutions as well. We were able to conclude the solutions for all the given problems. The group selected me to present the plan to GTO.

PGT, HGT and FGT: I was able to give workable ideas at the correct time and was also able to catch the hint given by GTO. I also helped others in executing their ideas to accomplish their task.

LECTURETTE: I spoke on “Security in Public places” for 2 mins 30 sec. Having general awareness on topic, one can speak for about 3 mins.

GOR: This is the best part of GTO. Our group choose “Har Har Mahadev “as war cry”. I was one among the 3, who cleared the obstacle with the (snake) rope and also helped the whole group to cross the 2 wall obstacle (in which I fell thrice and got sprain in my left foot). The environment was so energetic and enthusiastic that even the sprain couldn’t stop me from completing the tasks on the both GTO days.

IO: I was able to complete only 5 of them (9,1,7,2,5).Because my ankle was swollen up by the next day, I was slow in running between the obstacles due to severe pain in my ankle.

COMMAND TASK: I was called twice as subordinates and gave idea once as a subordinate. Before my command task, GTO had a short interaction about my work, my father profession (IAF), what my brother do, how I prepared myself for SSB, why do I choose Navy over Air Force? During the task, GTO did make my task difficult and also gave hint, wherever I was stuck. I was able to sense those hints (thanks to video lectures by Natrajan Sir). I was satisfied with my performance till now.

INTERVIEW: 13 AUGUST 2017

After GTO task was completed, my interview started. So I attended in the same uniform. Since I came running from the GTO ground, my interviewing officer asked normal questions regarding the stay, how was the GTO, how will I rate myself, which IO task I didn’t performed. While I was answering these questions, I made myself relaxed and cool. I can divide my interview into 3 portions – PIQ, Technical and GK. It lasted for around 01 Hr and 10 mins.

PIQ: Questions from work life, education, college life, family, friends, hobbies, sports, my responsibilities in office and at home etc. The questions here will depend on what is mentioned in PIQ form and counter questions from what you say.

Technical: Questions based on maths calculation, why mobile are called as cell phones? Why there is 1024 byte in 1KB? Bicycle working principle, Ship working, questions on navy, systems in ships, networking related question. In this portion I was not able to answer some 3 questions.

GK: It was like a KBC game. Some 10 questions like rapid fire. I was able to answer only one word and the officer asked next one by then. Since I had preparation, I was able to answer most of them. Questions were like CEOs of various companies, Malabar exercise, Motto of Air Force and Navy, Chief of Air Staff, issue with China, Maritime neighbours of India, Malacca and homruz, distance of Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar islands from main land, number of islands in Andaman and Nicobar, total coastal line of India, ports from where navy is not operating and some questions on Haryana.

CONFERENCE: 14 AUGUST 2017 AT 0800 HRS

The conference day started with a closing address by one of the testing officers. Thereafter, we were asked to wait for our chest number till the bell rings and then go into the conference hall. I waited for 15 mins before my turn came. I was asked about the stay, how much I will rate myself overall out of 10, what did I learned here, what did I do in spare time in SSB and then I was asked to leave. After this conference, result was announced and 6 of us got recommended. We were congratulated by the board president. Then we came back and our friends were waiting for us to hug and say good bye. We met everyone and they all left.

We were asked to stay back for another 5 days for medical at MH Bhopal. All of us were declared medically fit by the President Medical Board on 19 August 2017. Now I am waiting for the call letter/merit list in the month of Nov/Dec.
At last a few words from my side “Your thoughts impact your action. Clear your thought process, Believe in Yourself and things will happen”.

Best Wishes to all aspirants.

Jai Hind!! Jai Bharat!! Jai Haryana!! Jai Ram Ji Ki.

NDA 2 2017 Question Paper Analysis [Video]

Engineering Level Mathematics, Scoring science, Moderate Geography, English and Tough Current Affairs will keep cut off below 293 (out of total 900) for NDA-II 2017 paper conducted on 10th September 2017:- VIDEO ANALYSIS BY INDUS ACADEMICS

More than 2 lakh candidates brainstormed for NDA (National Defence Academy) examination conducted by the Union Public Service on Sunday. Exam is conducted in two slots where as  Paper-I consists of 120 Mathematics questions, Paper-II has 150 General studies questions including 50 questions on English section.

It is certainly a proud moment for Indus Academics where 63 out of 100 questions in GAT paper-II and 23 questions in mathematics directly match our class assignments and MCQ booklet. Also 19 questions in NDA paper were same as that in our All India Test series. KUDOS to the INDUS team for setting new benchmarks and raising the bar for all coaching academies. We would ensure that all motivated aspirants achieve their objective of an officer position in one of the best Armed Forces in the world – Indian Armed Forces.

Commenting on NDA-II 2017 paper, Indus Academics Mathematics expert, Moksh Goyal, said – “Paper-I that consisted of 120 mathematics question included easy, moderate as well as few lengthy questions on similar patterns with WBJEE, EAMCET, SCRA and IIT JEE MAIN EXAM but the key to success is all about selecting the easy and moderate questions with accuracy. Mathematics questions were distributed evenly across Algebra, Coordinate, Trigonometry and Calculus. While 41 Physics and Chemistry questions were fundamental and application oriented, which can be termed as high scoring, 18 questions in Geography were focused on Indian geography with few trivia on world geo facts, 16 History ones being conventional, followed by some dynamic as well as moderate 11 Biology questions.”

Indus Academics co-mentor, Nirbhay Kant Gargaya said- “Well, with 33 out of 100  Repeated questions  in General studies paper, 17 straight forward questions in  Geography followed by fairly easy English as well as 13 moderate questions in Modern History and Current affairs, NDA –II 2017 can be certainly termed as scoring one despite few questions being completely trivial as well as tough in nature. Certainly, NDA-II 2017 was more qualitative than previous NDA papers where many of the questions were picked from previous CDSE and Civil services paper which is not unexpected in papers conducted by UPSC.

One shift in the nature of question observed was that Polity and Economy questions were quite dynamic in nature and were asked in recent context.

TEAM INDUS ANALYSIS GIST: “With 23 repeated questions in Mathematics section, 14 in Physics, 7 in Chemistry, 5 in Geography, and 4 in History section, NDA EXAM 2017 can be termed as ‘reasonably moderate’ to ‘straight forward’ for serious NDA aspirants. Of course, candidates with science background will have an edge over non-science background aspirants. While few dynamic as well as static questions were challenging which is quite expected in UPSC exam, many  questions were found quite factual, repetitive, straight forward, conceptually efficient and approachable in nature which will let the cutoff  hover around 30% in various sections.”-  TEAM INDUS

 Expected cut-off for SSB call

Section Number of questions to be correct (Tentative)  Expected Cut off (Marks)
English  24-26  18  (+/- 4)
 Mathematics  37-39 84 (+/-5)
 Total 283-292 (+/- 7)

The increasing charm for the NDA can be observed by increase in number of candidates appearing every time. NDA entrance is conducted by UPSC in April and August, twice a year. The examination is conducted by UPSC for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 140th Course, and for the 102st Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from July, 2018. A total of 400813 have registered for NDA-I Entrance exam with number of candidates increasing every year to fill total 410 vacancies in National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. From an IITian to Future Pilot in Indian Air Force

0
FROM IIT TO INDIAN AIR FORCE

Hello friends, I am a mechanical engineer from IIT Mandi Himachal Pradesh, I have just graduated in June this year. I have cleared SSB from 1AFSB Dehradun in CDSE entry 2017 in my first attempt on 28th of July this year. This is like a dream come true for any youngster of this country, and to be honest I have worked hard and smart to achieve this.

To be honest I never dreamt of flying an aircraft from my childhood or something like that and nor do I have a family background in defense. This was during my 2nd year of college when one of my senior from 4th year Flt Lt Kshitij Saraswat today, cleared AFCAT and got recommended for technical branch in Airforce. It was from there where I got to know about various types of entries and the motivation to join Indian defense, I saw the chance that the training brought in him and I wanted to be like that. (Being from a sports background and a fitness lover)

I filled up form for CDSE 1 2017, prepared for the paper on my own, the only difficult part for me was General knowledge, as Math and English was very easy for me, I started to read newspaper and followed SSBCrack for various types of GK questions, I cleared the exam and I am sure I have scored above 160/300. I got my SSB date and venue as 24th of July at Dehradun. (As I filled air force as my first preference then navy and followed by army).

I reached Dehradun on 23rd July and visited few places nearby, I took proper sleep that night and was very confident and excited about the process tomorrow. The next day I reached at the MCO office at 6:00 AM, their team took us to the AFSB station and as soon as we reached there we did some form formality and started with the OIR test, I did all the question in both the booklets as I was good in math and reasoning, then came the PPDT, I wrote a story about group study as we always did the same in the college, my story was well narrated because I was confident, then started the group discussion, we were 12 people all freshers, I started the discussion and gave short and valid points, our discussion was very civilized unlike the typical SSB discussion. After the discussion we were told to wait and at around 3PM results were announced and I was confident to get screened in, my chest number was announced and 43/190 were screened it. (8 freshers)

I was very happy about it but the game had just begun and for next four days I had to perform well.Recommended candidates

On the same day we had our psychology test from 5PM to around 9.30PM, I did all the SRTs WATs and TATs in time, filled my PIQ form very neatly and also did a mistake in filling which I later realized. Next day I had my GD, GPE, PGT and HGT, again I initiated GDs and GPE and gave few ideas and performed properly, I was lucky enough that my group was very understanding. On the 3rd day I had my command task and lectorate, IO was canceled due to rain, during command task I was called by 5/7 people, and my topic for lectorate was education system in India, which was very easy and I was familiar with it.

IIT to IAF

The only thing remaining was my PI, so on 4th day I had my PI, which went for around 1hr 10mins, he asked me about my family, sibling, teachers, friends, also many technical questions as I was from IIT, we also discussed on Dokhlam issue, Brexit, ISRO, DRDO, defense deals, Tejas, OBOR, CPEC and few geography questions and the final and very difficult question was “why do you want to join defense, as you could easily do job in some multinational company and earn money and lead a comfortable life?” I was prepared for this question as it was very obvious for him to ask this.

Current Affairs questions will be from last 5-7 months (for AFCAT, NDA, CDS, TA)

On the 5th day we had conference, my conference went on for 15 mins and we discussed about my role as sports secretary during my college days, at about 2 PM our results were out and 5/43 were recommended and I was the only fresher to get recommended, I was so happy that I could not even speak for few minutes and the dream had come true.

You all can achieve what you have planned, just work hard but smartly.

The Price of Wearing The Maroon Beret

0
Maroon Beret

When the angels have fallen down…and the devil has had his day…You’ll find the gates of heaven..Guarded by a single MAROON BERET..!!

They revel in their image as the steely, fearless elite of the Indian Special Forces and are regarded as the hard men who eat GLASS!!

Meet the RED DEVILS!

We faced the horrors of Nagrota Attacks and URI Attacks and India responded with successful surgical strikes at Pakistan. There was not even a single scratch to the forces which returned after destroying terror camps in PoK and that gave the Narendra Modi government political relief and a few more inches of chest… You know what is common in all these attacks?

“Para Commandos” — the ‘RED DEVILS

They are the Indian special forces and the first one to fire back on the terrorists and mow easy battlegrounds for the frontline forces to come and take over and then vanish silently into the same Dhruv helicopters through which they were dropped down to the conflict zone.

The Paratrooper Special Forces Unit was first used in the World War II. But it was India’s war with Pakistan in 1965 when they were converted into a special unit called the Para Commandos.

The maroon beret in a military configuration has been an international symbol of airborne forces since the Second World War.

The Indian Army’s 50th (Independent) Parachute Brigade, including the minor/support units of the formation, the President’s BodyGuard, a ceremonial guard unit with their operational role as the Pathfinder company of the parachute brigade, and the special forces units wear the maroon beret.

The Indian Air Force’s special operations force, Garud Commando Force, also wears the maroon beret and are parachute trained, with some personnel even free fall qualified.

indian special forces para commando

The Special Frontier Force (Para-Military Forces) of the Home Ministry are parachute trained and wear the maroon beret.

In Death Valley, the beret matters…

In just two years, the use of the army Para SF units has increased so much that the government is planning to increase the number of such battalions.

The army currently has eight Special Forces battalions with about 650 troops each, much smaller than regular infantry battalions (900-1,100 troops each).

This is because the nature of SF operations is vastly different. Unlike regular battalions that operate with sections, platoons and companies of troops, the SF units operate in small squads with five to six men in each.

The fundamental difference between infantry battalions and Para SF battalions is that the Para SFs are not tasked to hold grounds. They are mobile forces that have to strike multiple targets and move on — the “tip of the spear”.

Para Commando

The military establishment now views Special Forces as a necessary component of what it calls “hybrid” warfare. They are allocated to commands – especially the northern and eastern commands, as per the terrain and operational requirements.

Unlike the regular battalions of the army, they are unpublicised till a government chooses to announce a Special Forces operation. The Modi government has done so probably for the first time in a theatre of non-conventional war.

So secretive is the culture of the Special Forces that even episodes from conventional wars fought decades ago are still hushed-up. Little is known beyond key identifier of a Special Forces soldier – the maroon beret – and their naughty ditty: ” Jab bura hai waqt, tab commando hai f****d”.

Special forces are expensive to raise and maintain. The Indian Army does not list the types of equipment that are at the disposal of the Special Forces. But they were the first to be issued the Israeli-origin Tavor guns to ensure that they have multi-incursion capability.

The Para commandos are part of highly trained Parachute Regiment of Indian Army and make the largest special forces. A rough estimation says out of 7500 elite paratroopers only 2500s are Para Commandos. Needless to say, they are highly trained, motivated and super deadly.

Late captain Pawan Kumar, 22, from 10 PARA SF martyred fighting terrorists in Pampore in Kashmir Valley.

THE BERET IS SAID TO BE EARNED WITH BLOOD…

The Para Beret is Maroon in colour as it’s said that the Green Army Beret is turned Red by blood and then it’s earned and so is the story of ‘Balidaan’.  It’s the badge of sacrifice meaning whosoever wears it owes his blood to the nation.

para special forces

The training is world’s toughest and harshest like surviving in the wilderness by eating plants, bugs and making tools, keeping warm, etc. dealing with torture and capture, specialized methods of infiltrations, capturing friendly signals etc. HAHO and HALO techniques are an important part of their training of the Para Commandos. They are called as the GLASS EATERS. Glass eating tradition is a ritual that fosters their sense of absolute fearlessness and superiority.

para commando eating glass

They are so efficient that they can fire while lying down, rolling, running, looking into the mirror. Snaking their way through an actual mined path. One of the interesting techniques of training is keeping a coin near their partner’s feet and keep running towards them and firing. You just can imagine the amount of confidence they possess in each other!!

INDIAN ARMY’S SPECIAL FORCES

  • Motto: Balidan (Sacrifice)
  • Wanted: A guy whose mind can function when his tongue is hanging out. It should function enough to drag him out of a hole. What is between the ears matters more than how broad your shoulders are.
  • Age range: 21-22 Years
  • Selection: The Special Forces are a voluntary service (mostly from the Parachute Regiment), depending on selection through an initial probation period of three months during which only about 30% are selected.
  • Training: After probation, training lasts three years.
  • Dropout probability: 70%
  • Fitness: The Special Forces in full gear need to finish in 21 minutes the 5km run for battle physical efficiency test. Other units can take three more minutes.
Running is not the sole criterion. An officer graded satisfactory (on a scale of excellent, good, satisfactory and poor) in the run but rated excellent in mountain walk may still make the cut.
  •  Armed combat: Should be able to fire from either shoulder. Trained to use semi-automatic pistols, sub-machine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, light machine guns, grenade launchers and rocket launchers. Choice of weapons is mission-dependent.
  • Unarmed combat:  Martial arts such as judo, karate, kung fu.
  • Mode of transport: Mostly legs. Sometimes parachutes, after jumping from aircraft. Sometimes hands, to swim.
  •  Can they marry?  Yes
  • Have I seen them? Yes, if you have watched the Republic Day Parade. The only contingent to hop-jog through Rajpath during the parade is the Special Forces.
