Recently in a report regarding intelligence bureau, it was disclosed that the agency is hiring MBA, B.Tech pass-outs and doctors for the jobs of spies. This step was taken by many students who were already working in any private company and left that job for joining IB. This job gives them job satisfaction along with thrill and adventure. This interest of new pass-outs from different corners of the nation is making a new era of intelligence and educated spies that can be trained easily with more modern knowledge and vast areas of operations. Heavy politics and underfunding had made it little weak. But, with fresh new minds this job will regenerate the agency. This will also revive the faith of people in IB which had almost extinct from people due to increased terror attacks and spreading terror groups, the terror attack of 26/11 was one of the known attacks. According to the IB officials, the agency is going through a shortage of personals by 30% which is a lack of nearly 8000 officers. But as youngsters are showing a keen interest in this job it will certainly give them a glorious future.
Well this agency has a long history. Intelligence bureau was formed in British era to keep an eye on Russian forces to safeguard British from them. But finally got its identity in 1947 after independence. After that IB was trained by Russian KBG till The Soviet Union got dismantled. 1962 Sino-India war and 1965 Indo-Pak war witnessed, lapse of intelligence resulted into parting out RAW from IB. RAW was handed over to external intelligence branch.
India’s intelligence and detective agencies are doing best in pacifying the threats with the aim to deteriorate India’s peace. One of the close enemies of RAW and IB is ISI, the Intelligence Agency of Pakistan. ISI has been alleged to be involved with terrorists in many attacks and conspiracies against India. Recently the technology missile Omar-I, which was successfully done by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan was assumed to be transferred by ISI by some media sources. IB has been efficiently working in the country and also alerted police for some big, going to be happen. Like IB warned repeatedly for Mumbai attacks and gave prior information to police about Hyderabad blast.These days, the intelligence agencies play a crucial role in maintaining country’s peace. These agencies have to work a lot in order to secure the nation from attacks and other terror activities.
