7 Tips To Perform Better In TAT

Hi, Warriors! Thematic Apperception Test or TAT comes under the series of psychological tests in the SSB process. Unlike PPDT, it is tested in the second stage of the selection.

Though PPDT and TAT follow same theme, there is a significance difference between the two. PPDT follows with only one picture whereas TAT consists of 12 simultaneous pictures shown back to back, out of which, 1 is blank.

In PPDT, a candidate needs to perceive the details of a picture and then describe it followed by a story and narration. Whereas, the TAT deals directly with the story writing part and there is no narration afterwards.

In both cases, picture(s) are shown for 30 seconds each.
