Notification: Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN/NEPALESE CITIZENS from designated Districts of State of Odisha to join as Airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Automobile Technician and Indian Air Force (Police)} will be held at VSS (Veer Surendra Sai) Stadium, Sambalpur, Odisha as per the Selection Programme given below. All eligible candidates are required to fill the Registration Form (typed on A4 size paper) as per format given below and report to registration venue along with duly filled registration form, two recent passport size photographs and original documents {as mentioned at para 11(a) to (h)}. Notification: Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN/NEPALESE CITIZENS from designated Districts of States of West Bengal & Sikkim to join as Airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group „Y‟ (Non-Technical) {Automobile Technician and Indian Air Force (Police)} Trades will be held at 4 ASC (Near Palta Gate), Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Paragnas (North), West Bengal as per the Selection Programme given below. The Recruitment Test shall be conducted from 6 AM onwards as per the details given below. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) (Medical Assistant Trade) will be held at Annai Sathya Stadium, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu as per the Selection Programme given below. The Recruitment Test shall be conducted from 6 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates (from designated districts of State of Tamil Nadu & UT of Puducherry) fulfilling the domicile requirements and eligibility conditions reporting up to 10 AM on 23 July 2018 and 26 July 2018 at Annai Sathya Stadium, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu (Rally Venue) shall only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.

Notification: Indian Air Force invites ONLINE application from UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS (citizens of Nepal are also eligible) for selection test from 13 September 2018 to 16 September 2018 to join as Airmen in Group „X‟ Trades (except Education Instructor Trade) and Group „Y‟ {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician} Trades.
Date: ONLINE REGISTRATION will commence on 03 July 2018 and will close on 24 July 2018. Only ONLINE REGISTERED applications shall be accepted.

Candidates who are interested in joining the Indian Air Force can attend the Indian Air Force Recruitment Rally on the mentioned dates. The selection of the candidates will be done through the written test/ medical examination etc.

The written test is going to be conducted on 05-04-2017 and Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-2 will be on 06-04-2017 and the Medical Examinations will be from 07-04-2017 to 10-04-2017 on the stated venue.

Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades:

Candidates who want to get the Vacancy in IAF must have Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Candidates who are willing to get the IAF Jobs must have Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering, from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course

Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Trades {except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF(P), IAF(S), Med Asst & Musician Trades):

Candidates who want to get the Jobs in IAF must have Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Medical Standards for Indian Air Force Rally:

Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age. (However, minimum weight of 55 Kg required for Operations Assistant (ATS) Trade only)
Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable
Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately
Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points
Health: Candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments.
Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.
