In a remarkable demonstration of agility and precision, the Indian Air Force (IAF) deployed its Dornier aircraft to airlift a team of doctors from Pune to Delhi for a critical organ retrieval and transplant operation.

The lifesaving mission, executed on Friday, came to light after the official Twitter account of the defence body shared the details on Sunday, highlighting the extraordinary efforts undertaken by the armed forces in the service of the nation.

The urgent operation saw the IAF Dornier aircraft activated at short notice to transport a specialized team of doctors from the prestigious Army Hospital (Research And Referral), commonly known as Army Hospital (R&R), to Pune.
