Assam Rifles Pays Tribute to Fallen Hero with Wreath Laying Ceremony in Manipur

In a poignant ceremony that reverberated with honor and remembrance, Assam Rifles organized a wreath laying ceremony on April 12, 2024, at the War Memorial in Manipur.

The ceremony was held to pay homage to the valor and sacrifice of Lance Naik (Late) Krishna Bahadur Chhetri, a true Braveheart who laid down his life in the line of duty in Mizoram on this very day in 1968.

The solemn event brought together members of the Assam Rifles, alongside dignitaries, veterans, and local residents, as they gathered to honor the memory of Lance Naik Krishna Bahadur Chhetri.

Amidst the tranquil surroundings of the War Memorial, emotions ran high as tributes were paid to the courageous soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.
