The initiative reflects the Indian Army’s commitment to fostering integrated security efforts and modernizing tactical responses to evolving security challenges.

In a significant step towards strengthening inter-agency cooperation and national security preparedness, the Indian Army’s Dhruva Command recently conducted specialized training sessions for Probationary Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) from the Jammu and Kashmir Police and personnel from the Indian Air Force’s elite GARUD Special Forces.

The training focused on the evolving threat of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and the implementation of effective countermeasures.

Special emphasis was placed on the detection and neutralization of IEDs, equipping participants with hands-on experience in using advanced detection equipment and deactivation techniques.

Additionally, the program reinforced coordination protocols among security forces, ensuring swift and seamless responses to IED-related threats in operational environments.
