The Indian Air Force (IAF) recently hosted the 64th edition of the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament, where Minerva Public School, Mohali (CISCE), emerged victorious in the Sub Junior Boys (U-15) category with an impressive 6-0 win over Vidyachal International School, Muzaffarpur (Bihar).
The event showcased the IAFโs dedication to fostering young sporting talent across the country.Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Training Command, presented the winnersโ trophy, while P.R. Sreejesh, a Padma Bhushan and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna awardee and former Indian hockey goalkeeper, awarded the Fair Play Trophy and โน50,000 to Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Pakur.
The tournament, supported by State Bank of India (SBI) and featuring international teams, reflects Indiaโs growing sports infrastructure.
