A Valediction Ceremony was held at the prestigious Air Traffic Control Officers Training Establishment (ATCOTE) on 19 September 2025, marking the successful completion of the Air Traffic Management & Air Laws (Basic) Course and the Air Traffic Surveillance Services Course.
The ceremony was attended by officers from the Indian Army (IA), Indian Navy (IN), Indian Air Force (IAF), Indian Coast Guard (ICG), Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), as well as participants from Friendly Foreign Countries, highlighting the institutionโs role as a hub for professional military aviation training.
The event reaffirmed the commitment of the Indian Armed Forces towards joint training and integrated learning in air traffic management. By bringing together officers from multiple services and international participants, the courses emphasized not only the operational aspects of air traffic laws and surveillance but also the importance of interoperability in modern air operations.
Senior dignitaries addressing the gathering underscored that safe, efficient, and integrated airspace management is vital for both civil and military operations. The training provided at ATCOTE is designed to ensure officers are equipped with cutting-edge knowledge, practical expertise, and joint-service perspectives to meet the challenges of evolving airspace dynamics.
