The Commando Course of the Indian Army concluded at the Junior Leaders Wing (JL Wing), Belagavi, marking the successful completion of one of the most demanding and prestigious training programs in the Army.
The latest course saw participation not only from Indian soldiers but also from four Junior Leaders representing Friendly Foreign Countries โ Benin, Botswana, Cameroon, and the Philippines. The course tested participants through rigorous physical and mental challenges designed to enhance combat leadership and endurance.

Major General Rakesh Manocha, Commander, JL Wing, presided over the valedictory ceremony, delivering the closing address and felicitating the award winners.
Sepoy Rajendar Singh Khati of 22 KUMAON Regiment was adjudged the Best Student, while Corporal Jay Lord C. Pasaraba of the Philippine Army received the Best Foreign Student Trophy, reflecting the spirit of camaraderie and military cooperation among participating nations.

The Commando Course continues to serve as a hallmark of the Indian Armyโs focus on developing physically resilient, mentally agile, and tactically proficient leaders capable of performing under extreme conditions.
