Air Marshal Surat Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), conferred the AOC-in-C Commendation Medal on Vijender Singh in recognition of his exemplary professionalism, dedication to duty, and valuable contributions to the Indian Air Force.
Vijender Singh is an Indian Olympic boxer who won Indiaโs first-ever Olympic medal in boxing at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and later entered professional boxing and politics.
