The Valedictory Dinner held at the Katari Cadets’ Mess of the Indian Naval Academy (INA) was marked by immense pride, nostalgia, and celebration as Passing Out trainees and their families gathered ahead of the upcoming Passing Out Parade.
The evening witnessed emotional moments as parents of the graduating trainees visited the iconic mess hall that had served as a second home to the cadets throughout their demanding training journey.

Officials stated that the Katari Cadets’ Mess symbolises camaraderie, resilience, and shared experiences where trainees forged lifelong friendships while adapting to the rigorous routines of naval life.
The event was graced by Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, AVSM, NM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command and Reviewing Officer for the upcoming Passing Out Parade.

During his interaction with the trainees and their families, Vice Adm Saxena warmly congratulated the cadets for successfully completing their challenging training and praised the unwavering support of their parents.
He highlighted that the trainees now stood on the threshold of their transformation into officers of the Indian Navy, only hours away from one of the defining moments of their military careers.

The ceremony reflected the spirit of naval tradition, leadership, discipline, and camaraderie that continues to shape future maritime leaders at the Indian Naval Academy.
