In a proud achievement for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and Haryana, Under Officer (UO) Sneha Hooda, a cadet of 2 Haryana (Girls) Battalion NCC, Rohtak, has been recommended for commissioning in the Flying (Pilot) Branch of the Indian Air Force through the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) entry.
Sneha Hooda, a student of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, successfully cleared the AFCAT examination and was recommended by the No. 1 Air Force Selection Board (AFSB), Dehradun, after successfully completing the rigorous selection process.

Daughter of Shri Harvir Singh Hooda, Sneha will undergo pre-commission training at the Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Hyderabad, as part of Course No. 220/26F/SSC(W) commencing on 29 June 2026. Upon successful completion of training, she will be granted a Short Service Commission in the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force.
Her achievement reflects years of hard work, determination and dedication towards achieving her dream of serving the nation as a military aviator. The selection process for the Flying Branch is among the most competitive in the Armed Forces, requiring candidates to excel in written examinations, psychological assessments, group tasks and personal interviews.
Officials and instructors of 2 Haryana (Girls) Battalion NCC congratulated Sneha on her success, describing her achievement as a source of inspiration for fellow cadets and young aspirants across the region.
