Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Western Air Command (WAC), visited Air Force Station Faridabad on 10 December 2025 to assess operational readiness and ongoing welfare initiatives at the station.
Upon his arrival, the AOC-in-C was received by Group Captain V. Viswanathan, Station Commander, who briefed him on key operational activities, administrative improvements, and efforts to enhance the stationโs overall efficiency.

During the visit, Air Marshal Mishra reviewed the Passing Out Parade of No. 80 Explosive Detection (ED) Dog Course at the Air Force K9 School. He commended the institution for maintaining exemplary training standards and incorporating innovative techniques in preparing canines for explosive detection duties. The newly inducted ED dogs will now be deployed across various operational units to strengthen security and counter-threat capabilities.

The Air Marshal also inspected major logistics facilities at the station, assessing storage, warehousing, and supply-chain efficiency essential for supporting frontline air operations. He underscored the importance of maintaining high levels of logistical readiness to ensure rapid support during operational contingencies.

As the Indian Air Force continues to modernise its combat, surveillance, and air mobility assets, the AOC-in-C noted that such field visits are crucial in assessing real-time challenges, enhancing coordination, and reinforcing mission preparedness across all units.
