Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, visited the Non Commissioned Officers Academy at Dhana to review training standards and leadership development initiatives.

During the visit, the Commandant briefed the Army Commander on the Academy’s flagship Combat Leadership Course, designed for Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of all Combat and Combat Support Arms of the Indian Army. The course is meticulously structured to address the demands of contemporary warfare and evolving battlefield dynamics, with a strong emphasis on tactical proficiency, decision-making and leadership under stress.

Lt Gen Seth commended the Academy for maintaining exacting training standards and appreciated the instructors for their pivotal role in shaping capable and future-ready junior leaders.

In his interaction with trainees, the Army Commander underscored the decisive importance of technology-enabled training in building resilient, agile and combat-ready soldiers. He highlighted that empowered NCOs, equipped with modern skills and leadership acumen, remain central to seizing the initiative and dominating the future battlefield.
