Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited Kanpur Military Station to review the operational preparedness of the formation in the prevailing security scenario.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on current readiness levels, training frameworks and contingency measures in place to address evolving operational challenges. He assessed the formation’s capability to respond effectively to dynamic security requirements.

Interacting with officers, JCOs and other ranks, Lt Gen Sharma emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of training, operational adaptability and mission readiness. He highlighted that continuous upgradation of skills and preparedness remains essential to meet emerging threats.

The Army Commander commended the troops for their unwavering professionalism, dedication and high morale, reaffirming the Indian Army’s commitment to sustained operational excellence and national security.
