In a significant medical milestone, Command Hospital Chandimandir has successfully performed its first Autologous Bone Marrow Transplant for a patient diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

The procedure included the critical process of stem cell cryopreservation, carried out with support from the Department of Transfusion Medicine at PGIMER, highlighting collaboration with premier medical institutions.

Since the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Hematology Centre on 10 May 2025 by Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, Army Commander Western Command, the hospital has steadily expanded its capabilities in advanced cancer care.
