Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, visited Air Force Station Agra from May 2 to May 3, 2026, to review operational readiness and infrastructure development at the strategic air base.
During the visit, the Air Marshal assessed key operational aspects and ongoing development projects. A major highlight was the inauguration of the newly commissioned Water Supply Enhancement Project, aimed at ensuring uninterrupted water availability to meet the station’s growing requirements.

The project was implemented with coordinated support from Headquarters Central Air Command, the Municipal Commissioner of Agra, Jal Sansthan Agra, and the Military Engineering Services, reflecting strong civil-military cooperation in infrastructure development.

Interacting with station personnel, Air Marshal Manikantan commended the air warriors for their unwavering commitment and high levels of operational readiness. He also highlighted the critical role of Air Force Station Agra in conducting air transport operations and supporting Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) missions across the region.

The visit underscored the Indian Air Force’s continued focus on strengthening operational capabilities while enhancing infrastructure to support mission readiness and personnel welfare.
