Lieutenant General Neeraj Shukla, General Officer Commanding of the Gajraj Corps, visited Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) battalions at Bhalukpong in Arunachal Pradesh and held detailed interactions with senior ITBP leadership.
During the visit, the GOC interacted with the DIG of SHQ ITBP along with Commandants of the battalions, where discussions focused on operational preparedness, coordination mechanisms, and joint training initiatives aimed at strengthening border security and interoperability.

Lt Gen Shukla also paid solemn homage at the ITBP War Memorial, honouring the sacrifices and dedication of ITBP personnel in safeguarding the nation’s borders.
The Corps Commander interacted with ITBP troops and reinforced the importance of seamless synergy between security forces in ensuring national security and contributing towards nation-building.

Emphasising the concept of JAI — Jointness, Aatmanirbharta, and Innovation — Lt Gen Shukla highlighted the importance of a Whole-of-Nation approach in building a future-ready force capable of conducting multi-domain operations under the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The visit reflected the continued focus of the Indian Army and the Indo Tibetan Border Police on strengthening operational coordination, indigenous capability development, and integrated national security preparedness in strategically important border regions.
