A total of 1,170 Agniveers of the seventh batch successfully completed their military training and took the oath to serve the nation during a grand Passing Out Parade (POP) held at the Kumaon Regimental Centre (KRC), Ranikhet.
The young soldiers marched proudly across the symbolic Antim Pag, signifying their transformation from recruits into trained soldiers of the Indian Army. The parade was conducted amidst the stirring tunes of the regiment, reflecting the rich traditions and martial heritage of the Kumaon Regiment.

The ceremony was reviewed by Brigadier Vijayant Mahadik, Commandant of Kumaon Regimental Centre, who inspected the parade and congratulated the Agniveers on successfully completing their rigorous training.
Brig Mahadik commended the young soldiers for their immaculate drill, smart turnout, military bearing and high standards of discipline displayed during the parade. He urged them to uphold the finest traditions and values of the Indian Army throughout their careers.

The event was witnessed by proud parents and family members, many of whom were honoured with the prestigious Gaurav Padak in recognition of their contribution and support in shaping the future soldiers of the nation.
Officials stated that the training programme equipped the Agniveers with essential military skills, physical endurance, discipline, leadership qualities and operational preparedness required to meet the challenges of modern military service.
The Passing Out Parade marked the beginning of a new chapter for the 1,170 Agniveers as they embark on their journey in uniform, ready to serve the nation with honour, courage and dedication.
