The Sikh Regimental Centre at Ramgarh hosted the Attestation and Passing Out Parade (POP) of the seventh batch of Agniveers, marking a significant milestone in the military journey of 1,186 young recruits who successfully completed their training.
The grand military ceremony was reviewed by Brigadier Digvijay Singh, Commandant of the Sikh Regimental Centre, who inspected the parade and congratulated the Agniveers on their successful transformation into soldiers of the Indian Army.

During the ceremony, the 1,186 Agniveers took the oath of allegiance to the nation, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the Constitution and serve the country with honour, courage and dedication.
The parade showcased the discipline, military bearing, precision and professionalism developed by the recruits during their rigorous training period, reflecting the high standards maintained by the Sikh Regimental Centre.

Addressing the young soldiers, Brig Digvijay Singh commended them for their perseverance, hard work and commitment throughout the training process and encouraged them to uphold the finest traditions and values of the Indian Army.
The Eastern Command extended its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newly inducted soldiers as they embark on a career of service to the nation.

Officials stated that the passing out of the seventh batch of Agniveers represents another important step in strengthening the Army’s future-ready manpower while providing motivated youth with an opportunity to serve the country.
The ceremony concluded with the newly attested soldiers proudly taking their place in the ranks of the Indian Army, ready to begin their journey of duty, honour and national service.
