A total of 1,172 Agniveervayus successfully graduated during an impressive Passing Out Parade (POP) held at the Airmen Training School Belagavi on June 6, 2026, marking the successful completion of 22 weeks of transformative ab-initio military training.
The parade was reviewed by Air Vice Marshal Mukesh Kumar Yadav, Command Flying Training Officer, Headquarters Training Command of the Indian Air Force.
The ceremony celebrated the transformation of the young trainees into disciplined and motivated air warriors ready to take on future responsibilities in service of the nation. The Passing Out Parade showcased the precision, discipline and professionalism acquired by the Agniveervayus during their training period.

Addressing the graduating contingent, Air Vice Marshal Yadav congratulated the trainees on successfully completing their training and urged them to remain adaptable and continuously evolve to meet the changing operational and technological requirements of the nation and the Indian Air Force.
The event was attended by proud family members of the graduating Agniveervayus, making it a memorable occasion for both the trainees and their loved ones.
A major highlight of the ceremony was a spectacular aerial display by the Sarang Helicopter Display Team. The performance marked the team’s maiden display at Airmen Training School Belagavi, thrilling spectators with precision flying manoeuvres and showcasing the skill and professionalism of Indian Air Force helicopter pilots.

The successful graduation of 1,172 Agniveervayus reinforces the Indian Air Force’s commitment to developing a highly trained, disciplined and future-ready workforce capable of meeting the challenges of modern air operations.
Following the completion of training, the newly graduated Agniveervayus will proceed to various operational and support units across the Indian Air Force, where they will contribute to the service’s mission readiness and operational effectiveness.
